Too redunant at parts, frustratingly terrible combat system (unless against the smallest and weakest of enemies), flight system could have used a lot more work, slow moving characters on ground AND air, terrible music (not to mention that the only good music is the title screen and what;s been reused from TEN and ANB), most breaths are useless (mostly for Spyro; I've yet to descover all the uses of Cynder's), crap like that.

I do have to say that the graphics are pwning, but I don't feel like explaning the other little goods.

You know what's bad enough? They DEFINITLY just PORTED the PS3 version, because it's SHORT, but since my controller goes off after ten minutes of no use, the game says something like "Please connect a controller to controller port 1"; ALL the PS3's controllers are WIRELESS and there are NO CONTROLLER PORTS!

I didn't have the money to pay for express overnight shipping so I have to wait about 7-9 days. And the game isn't shipping for me until the 27th. The guide's already shipped though. That should be here on Monday. Doesn't matter. It'll probably take me very little time to beat and from there I move on to BioShock (whenever that comes) and DotD co-op with my friends (oy that's going to be riot)! n.n

Just flick your analog stick during a cutscene, or make it so your R2 or L2 Triggers are pressed down.

9.5 The horrible vocal performances by Wayne Brady and Christian Ricci ruined a few parts of the game for me. But, ultimately, it's a beautiful game and worth every penny. It's also worth not being spoiled, if you can help it.

81/120 goes out to about 7.5/10 for me, actually. And yes, Razz is right about Brady and Ricci. It was NOT worth 50 bucks, though.

in UK for Xbox 360 (i looked it up) its about £40

You're right about Wayne Brady. I've heard him before on a show and just isn't right. Sparx just sounds like an old man now

9/10 The game was great, but I think it could've been better. I mean this rating sincerely, I'm not being some screaming "OH EHM GEE PERFIKT SCORE!" fan. It was legitimately a good game, I was a little disappointed with Cynder's moves, they seemed very weak to me. Also some parts of the game got dizzying and confusing. But all in all, it was a very good game and I highly recommend it.

don't get mad but i give it about 6.5/10

8/10 camera kept pissing me off and i thought it was pretty short i mean most ppl beat it in like less then 15 hours

10/10. the DOTD was the most dramatic and intence spyro game i've ever played and I loved it.

DS version = 8/10. Very Good IMO.

8/10 because of Ricci's bland voice, gah.. And because the golem and the Destroyer's heart were so flippen frustrating.

And reused tracks from ANB and TEN, in their own way. Almost all levels, except the first flight level. It has a new track.

But other than that, absolutely fanastic!

7/10 Most enemies were wayy too strong... Cynder sounds like a child... and the story was poorly thought out. Graphics were awesome though, same with the overall gameplay. Camera pissed me off a few times. And

VA'ing needs some help, Elijah, Gary, and the others who have been with the series since ANB were fine. But PLEASE! GET A NEW VA FOR CYNDER. Preferably one who KNOWS how to VA and show EMOTION.

Music WAS reused, but I really liked the TEN/ANB music, and it fit the levels well.

The camera is sorta messed up. But really the only thing that was a pain from it is that you have to actually go to every little nook and cranny to try and find all the bonuses.

And..

Now the good:

Graphics, amazing (and on the PS2 nonetheless).

There is a puzzle element as well of the collecting type thing from the old games.

You get to go back to each individual level, so no more of playing through the whole game just to get one thing.

I like Cynder's breath abilities. Oh, and FINALLY you get to see her kick a lot of butt. With her being the ONLY girl in the series I was waiting eagerly for this.

I agree on the music part. I really liked how in the DS version, they had the reused tracks in their own way. ^_^
