The beautiful town of Crystal Springs, one of many beauties...and many mysteries. There has been an odd illness going around...People have been sent to Emergency Rooms to find out that they were diagnosed with just a stomach bug. But little do these fools know that this new strain of illness is called "Greetings". Whoever gets it is never the same again. They start out nauseous, then they start acting funny as if they are delirious, then they claim that they don't want to be seen and that they are changing...not just mentally, but physically too! Now many in the shadows has Greetings taken with it, and what is happening to these poor people that claim to be changing into fiction and fantasy characters that are only possible to turn into in dreams? Or even nightmares.....

I walk out of the hospital, really uneasy with the diagnosis I was given. I glare back at the door, but shrug it off. Doctors were usually right, and I thought I had nothing to worry about. I walked home shakily, every step feeling like something was pinning me down. What was this? Was this sickness just a stomach bug. I pause as the wind seemed to get colder. I look around, but smile and keep walking. As I get to my door, I shiver, getting even more uneasy when I opened my door. I sat on the couch and my eye started to twitch as if I was about to freak out or something.

(One more thing, you will not change right away. It will be fairly slow...it will take a few pages to)

"Ugh, Stupid sickness.." I grumble to myself, not taking notice of my slightly different voice. I had recently getting home from the hospital. Pfeh, Stomach bug? More like annoying-the-crap-out-of-me bug. People said that I haven't been...Acting like myself lately. I'm still myself! I think...
But then again, maybe acting more serious than being hyper and silly all the time was a good thing? I shrugged it off. Sitting down on the couch, I flicked through the T.V channels, not being able to find anything good on T.V. I had to, however, keep checking the time. I was supposed to be taking some sort of pills for the 'stomach bug', But, As most pills go, I don't think it'll work miracles, only slow it down a bit.

I then slump into my couch, feeling really sleepy, not noticing that my eyes became a lighter color. I look at the coffee table and see my deck of playing cards. I get up, and decide to play some sollitare. I don't know why, but I was occupying myself pretty well. After all, solitare is the game of the lonely.

After looking through the TV channels for what seemed to be hours, I decided to turn on the Wii U in the livingroom, and play some SSBB. I picked up the wii remote and sat back down on the couch, and began to go through Subspace Emissary on hardest difficulty.

I finish rather quickly, then I get really sleepy. Not noting this, I pass out on my couch.

I continued to play, surprisingly not taking silly screen shots like last time, or like I usually done. I was just keeping my mind to going through the main storyline, being serious as I played the game.

While asleep, I start to sneer as if something was after me in my dreams. I start to mumble, becoming paler in my sleep

My hair started to slowly change color as well, though I was too focused on playing Super smash bros to really notice.

I then wake up, getting off the couch and going up to my bedroom. I open my door and look through my closet, as if something was in there that I was not aware of. Little did I know that there were a few jewels in my coat pocket. I shrugged it off, thinking I was insane, and I crawled into bed.

I put my hand up to my forehead, feeling a bit sick. "..Perhaps I do need to relax like they said for me to..." I said to myself, and turned off the game. I led down on the couch, and looked up at the ceiling, unable to really fall asleep at the moment. Strangely, it wasn't until now that I had noticed my voice change. "Great, I'm hearing things. I sound like a guy..." I said to myself, "Wait, this voice sounds familiar..."

I fall asleep yet again, noting that I was a bit pale, I pull up my blanket and close my eyes, yawning as I did this. I suddenly hear something...

You know that you're mine...

At this, I knew something was up. Why would I be hearing male voices in my head? It's funny. Now, I was really ready to go back to the ER and explain to them that I have been experiencing more than just nausea and aches.

"I'm telling you, I do not feel that bad! It's just a stomach sickness!" I stared at the floor, annoyed. I'd been ordered out of school early for...what, a stomach bug? That's insane! The doctor who'd given me the diagnosis stared back evenly, pushing up his glasses. "Yes. Like I've told you before. But we wish to contain this bug so you do not spread it to your peers."
I leaned back against the chair. Why was I so moody, anyway? If I'd gotten out of school early, I'd usually be excited to retreat home to nap or play video games. But now I just felt argumentative. I glared up from the floor. "Well just tell me what to do to get back. I'm sure it'll go away soon."
"Just relax," the doctor insisted. "There should be no need for pills or anything of that nature yet. You should be grateful we caught it early. Take it easy these next few days."
I stared at him in disbelief. I'd been removed from school only to be told to slack off? "Fine," I snapped, standing up.

While in bed, I look at the ceiling and let out a long, needed sigh. What was going on with my head? At the thought, my thoughts were disoriented for a split second as I feel like my eyes are going to come out of my head. I cried a bit at the pain, but it stopped. Little did I know that my amethyst eyes were now an emerald green, and they widened a bit.

Barkis started to slowly wake up with a pounding headache, "What happened?..." he muttered

I coolly walked out of the hospital and over to my bike. I pulled my helmet and sunglasses on, unhooked the bike from the lock and got on. Time to go home and do absolutely nothing! Yaaaay. I sighed and set off, pedaling in a relaxed manner and glancing around. Spring was an excellent time to bike. The temperature wasn't too hot, and a nice breeze was blowing from behind, boosting me forward. I wonder who else has this stomach bug. Hmm, I think Felicity wasn't at school. I'll Skype her when I get home. Emboldened by the plan, I curved to the left on my bike, the familiar sight of my home approaching.

I sighed, not being able to fall asleep. Though, I wanted to close my eyes for a bit, my vision was getting blurry, and it hurt for a while to even look at anything with a bright color, or any light. This was the cause of my eyes having a massive color change. From brown to a blue color, the color blue slowly faded over the brown. "Ugh....My eyes hurt...." I complained.

"This is too weird..." I cry out loud with another sigh as I then get sick to my stomach, running to the restroom.

By now, I had actually managed to fall asleep on the couch, my eyes had stopped hurting, and little did I know, my eye color had changed. My throat felt sore the whole time, so that's why I didnt take notice to the change in my voice that much. It kind of hurt to speak when I tried, so I stopped talking to myself for now.

I put my bike away and ran into the house, collapsing on the couch. For some reason my shoulders had gotten a little sore at the end of the trip, and it felt good to lean against something soft. I pulled out my phone, not exactly sure what I was gonna do with it. I glanced out the window, wondering if I should go for a walk instead. The sun was so inviting...
Well that wasn't like me at all. I usually stayed inside! I blinked as I remembered I was gonna try Skyping people. I booted up the Skype app on my phone to see who was online.

My IPhone had been left on, so it would seem like as if I was online. The sound of a text alert would probably wake me up from my nap if someone decided to message me.

Skype loaded, revealing Felicity was indeed online. I decided to send a message: You alright? I noticed you weren't at school. Weirdly enough, I actually got sent home due to a stomach bug. What do you think? I then leaned against the couch and stared at the wall. My arm drifted to my shoulder and I rubbed it awkwardly. What was wrong with it, anyway?

I was slowly awoke by the tune of my Skype alert on my phone, reading the message, I decided to reply.

Weird, I was kept home today for the same reason, A stomach bug. Though, I don't think its supposed to make it hurt to speak...

I sent back a message, and upon sending it, I still felt, real strange to say the least.

I exit the bathroom, panting and gasping for air as I look at my texts. Nothing yet....Right after I do, I suddenly faint.

I blinked as I received the message. Oh boy. I hoped that it wasn't contagious. However, I was somewhat intrigued that we both had the same thing. But...different symptoms, maybe? My throat felt fine. I replied with Oh, I hope not! Speaking of, my shoulders have been sore. Do you think it's...strange that we apparently have the same problem but with potentially different symptoms?

I stay on the floor as my hair starts to become light blue. I twitched more, and that blue color turned into a lavender, then back to blue.

Same problem, different symptoms...Thats sure strange if you ask me...
I replied with that as soon as I had it typed in. This was indeed a very strange thing, this cant be just a stomach bug, can it..?
At that moment, on my head, where my hair was, started to feel real itchy, little did I know, my hair was changing in color and length at the moment,and I had no idea.

Xavier was sitting in the ER in the Hospital. huuuu.... This stomach ache is killing me... It was the worst stomach feeling ever since I broke the world record for 'most eaten candy bars'... "So Xavier you seem to be just fine. But the stomach ache you had shouldn't be taken lightly. It seems to be like a cold it should go away on its own. You can leave now also." The doctor said as Xavier then jumped down from the table as he ran out of the Hospital shouting. "Weeeeeee!!!! Yay!! I'M FREE FROM SCHOOL!! HUEHUEHUE!!" He said as he then started walking down the sidewalk back to his house... huh... Thats strange I just felt a bit crazy for a second....

Man, maybe these doctors don't know what they're diagnosing. I mean, come on! My stomach is fine- it's just my shoulders bugging me! Although I was worried, I was more annoyed than I normally should've been. Didn't these doctors know any better? Medical care could be expensive, and I didn't wanna spend money if they weren't doing their job right! I finally got up and started pacing around in a circle, my eyes trailing the ground. At this point, my brown eyes were deciding to change to red, something I didn't know at the time. All I knew was that my eyesight was getting slightly fuzzy and that I tripped over the corner of the couch.

I agree, I mean, it can't be the same thing with different symptoms,can it...?

The itchiness had stopped for now, my hair length had changed a little, but my hair color had changed completely. I still hadn't noticed it, because my hair was still a dark color, Just not realizing it was now a dark blue.

I had landed on my side on the ground, causing me to yell "Stupid Hades-forsaken couch!" I rubbed the new bruise, wincing. I was pretty numb as I laid on the floor for a few minutes, finally snapping out of my reverie when my phone vibrated. That meant Felicity had replied. Sighing and trying to cool off, I rolled over and grabbed the phone. Reading Felicity's reply, I wondered if we should try to meet in person.
I have no idea, I typed. Grr. Hey, is it okay if I come over? I don't want you to move much since your symptoms are more severe, but it might be easier if we try to figure this out in person. It's imay if you don't want to, but just a thought...

Sure, I mean, our houses aren't too far after all.
I typed that up, and sent the message to Shadme. It would be nice to see her in person after all of this. At least I wouldn't be home alone all day.

Okay. I'm moving out! Haha, reference. Anyhow, I got up and stretched, glancing at the clock for really no other purpose than to look at something. A mild headache had begun to start and I needed something to focus on. Now that I was up I grabbed my phone and walked outside, blinking in the sunlight. I headed over to where my bike was parked and knocked the kickstand back. I grabbed my helmet, got on, and started to Felicity's house. I tried not to concentrate on my headache and instead wondered, again, why this was diagnosed as a stomach bug.
After a little while I saw her house coming up. I smiled slightly and pulled into the driveway. I set my bike near the house, removed my helmet and headed up to the door. My shoulders felt worse as soon as I got off the bike, causing me to flinch. I took a moment to steady myself, then gathered my nerves and stumbled over to the door.
