Til you really offended someone with a rape, cancer, or suicide joke.

Looks guys those are indeed a big deal and should not made fun of at all. I mean how would you like it if I did that in front of your relative who has been raped, diagnosed with cancer, or had thoughts of suicide. You wouldn't like that would ya? Then why do it on the internet?

Rape shouldn't really be joked about, because someone just violated you. And it's very traumatizing and not even holy. It's just messed up. Like posting porn on DarkSpyro it's scarring, but much to a lot worse. Heck some people that have been raped where then taken to a place not only be raped again, but also killed. Why joke about that?

Cancer is a deadly disease, a good amount of people die of it yearly and those that do live through the harsh therapies need special care to survive it. Plus there's those around your age probably dying from it right now. Would make fun of them? Would you make fun of your relatives with cancer? Would you? No, in fact you would pray, donate, or do something to help find a cure for cancer so your family/friends can still be with you. Why joke about it?

Suicide is terrible, people go through rough times just like you, but sometimes even worse than you. They are picked on by others, whether it be at school by kids like you or at home by their parents. And some people have a hard time with their job because of such co workers. They blamed their existence because of how they were treated and thought death was the solution. And this could be anyone. They could be you, they could be me, they could be your friend, they could be your family for god's sake! Why joke about that!?

If you joke about these it proves that you a terrible person in general. So why joke about them?

They don't offend me. Nothing has happened for them to. But what if someone said that to someone who's mom was dead or in the hospital? It would offend them. Yup.

And, to make my motivation clear, I have a very fine line about what I do and do not ridicule. Cancer is something I do not joke about, my grandmother was a victim for crying out loud!
Also, I do sex jokes, and very very rarely (even I can get carried away) leave a smidgen of a comment about rape, as was the case with my 2-hour Gnorc. But I've learned my lesson about rape jokes. I don't believe Zap has learned his lesson about cancer jokes.
