^That is a word, and this is a sentence.

This is a paragraph. Paragraphs usually consist of 1 topic sentence, 3 detail sentences, and a clincher. This paragraph, however, is shorter.

A paragraph? Paragraphs are nice. They occur in nature when a bunch of sentences all connect and decide they have something in common. Together they march, one after the other, in formation. Depending on the amount and length of sentences, the paragraph's size can vary. The more sentences there are, the more valid the point they try to make. Some are daunted by paragraphs of large size, but as long as the sentences connect and flow smoothly, like a river, then there is nothing to fear. Yes, it may take some time, but don't we all like taking time to do things of importance, like eating or playing video games? Paragraphs are important, too. Every sentence has its meaning, and it just needs somebody to sit down and look it over.
