I can restart the system whenever it gets like this, but it only lasts for so long. If I can find a way around it, or just learn to deal with it, I won't leave.

Too many tabs? Crappy computer? Too many tasks open? There has to be a reason!

As for the AdBlock, try uninstalling it, updating the Browser and installing it again. It'll probably work.

Can't be too many tasks. I typically run 3 at once: Facebook, YouTube, and either Wiki or darkSpyro. Wiki always works just fine. dS is what really messes it up.

And I've tried that, it works for like 2 days and then it's over.

Then your computer's got a problem. Tried scanning for virus? It can always be some small Adware pissing people off <.<


And what version is your AdBlock? I've seen they had a new update which changed the icon and appareance. Outdated can always be a problem.

Yes, and it works wonderfully. I definitely don't have a virus.

@DummyZ: It's a red octagon with the letters "ABP" on it. In the display in the upper left hand corner of screen, it has the icon with an indicator number of how many ads it has spotted on the page.

that happens to me some times, and i know how to fix it.

this is for windows 7

be warned don't go all out with this, some programs you need on your computer.

step 1. go to the start menu

step 2. go to computer button

step 3. go to uninstall or change program

step 4. uninstall the things off your computer the day the spam started to happen.

that should take care of it.
