He has seen nearly every legend, never attempted to catch a single one.
Releases all of his good Pokemon or banishes them to Oak's farm in favor of weak ones.
He doesn't evolve his Pokemon very often.
He has yet to win a single one of the league tournaments (Not counting Orange Islands or Battle Frontier)
He doesn't catch a ton of Pokemon. As noted before, he only ever had one Ghost type, and he released it the next day.

In the Jirachi movie Brendan had Shiftry and Aggron. He appeared again in the Ranger/Manaphy movie where he had Swampert. He was also in the Giritina movie with a Rhyperior battling Lucas' Magmortar.

Yes and no. That was the Green that is Blue.

There is a slight issue with the characters of Blue and Green. Since Japan got Red and Green versions originally while the rest of the world got Red and Blue, in Japan, Blue is known as Green, while everywhere else knows him as Blue.

The Green of which I was was referring as to not having appeared in the anime, is the Green by non-Japanese standards. The third character from the Gen 1 era.

Now is where things get complicated. There is no third character (Green as is referred) in the Gen 1 Era, only Red and Blue (or Green if you're in Japan). That is because there was a beta character seen in some artwork that was never implemented in the game. This character was used i nthe Pokemon Adventures manga however.

This beta-character Green would've been the female option in Gen 1. Since for who knows why, Female player option wasn't introduced until Crystal with Kris, Green was only in the manga. However, when Fire Red/Leaf Green came out, a previously non-existant female option was given for the Gen 1 games. Green was reincarnated as this female option (Leaf).


The Green to which I was referring in the earlier post can be seen in this early artwork by Sugimori and a better view of her can be seen in this artwork from the manga.
