I once witnessed the same occurance on a different forum where a user and her alt were online at once and carried on a conversation. This was accomplished with 2 computers.

Not neccessarily. Each comp could have different info.

In the situation mentioned before, the girl got away with it. No one ever knew. The only reason I know the other account was an alt is because she told me.

I tried that with Dr Phil. Firefox and *sigh* Internet Explorer. When I logged in, and then to the other, one of them changed to the same one. I know that doesn't make any sense but, no.
