found a e3 trap at gamestop too, plus they have all the extra characters out like people are showing pics of like pop fizz. i heard of them talking of some holiday variant though and they wouldn't tell me. They might also be getting the holiday lob s tar in on the 7th.

Taking that last ride through the sunset on skylanders. Hopefully a return of more classic spyro gameplay in the horizon.

How are people getting it for free?



There were sent to Gamestop stores for the managers, and don't have barcodes.. So if the manager isn't interested, they can give them to regular customers if they want..

I FINALLY found some wave 2 traps today. I picked up the Water Axe but skipped some others that'll be in the 8 pack. Now if I could just find that magic hourglass!

Went and got the Eon's Elite Spyro and Chop chop today at Gamestop. Although when I asked for them the girl at the counter just got me Chopper and I was like... no. She says, "Didn't you ask for Chop chop?" I replied that I did but that was Chopper, and she had the most dumbfounded look on her face. I eventually just had to show her their "Skylanders Day" advertisement sheet that was right in front of her.

Pretty sure I was supposed to get a free Punch Pop figure too, but there was a line growing behind me at that point.

I went on a shopping spree tonight to these stores and picked these up:
Best Buy: Lob Star, Fizzy Frenzy Pop Fizz, Tidal Wave Gill Grunt, Hog Wild Fryno, and Full Blast Jet-Vac.
Walmart: Undead Sidekick Double Pack, tons of traps.
Target: Mirror of Mystery, tons of traps.
Toys R Us: Water Log Trap.

And at Toys R Us, an employee said they will have shipments of the Kaos traps on November 8th! smilie

Krypt King and Nightmare Express finally arrived from the UK for me, one month before the planned time! My game is still in customs clearance, though, but this is my first look at the new figures - the paintjob is so good on figures that aren't from Brazil and this time is no different, can't wait to see more!

EDIT: And the game didn't take too long either! The paintjob from the starter pack guys is... not as good, but everything works, so as soon as I get the time I can start playing.

Just yesterday, I got Legendary Jawbreaker (my first Tech Trap Master) so now I can see what's in those gates! I also scored the Deja Vu micro comic pack with the Legendary Water Jughead Trap.

Funny thing is one of the employees said they never got any shipments of the trap at Toys R Us. But when another employee went to go check in the back, it turns out they had tons of them! Me and the employee (who said there weren't any shipments) was so surprised... smilie

I bought Trap Team last night from TRU and got a free magic trap. I also bought Mirror of Mystery, Bushwhack, and a tech trap today.

And on a side note, I've only had Bushwhack a few hours, but he is one of my favorite Skylanders of all time. Only one more upgrade left!

Went to Walmart the other day with my dad and saw Bushwhack, Lob Star, Head Rush, Fizzy Frenzy Pop Fizz, Tread Head and Fist Bump. No wave 2 traps or any other Series 3's and and 2's Anyway I didn't get any because my dad wouldn't let me but THERE WAS ONLY 2 BUSHWHACKS LEFT D:

I went to TRU on saturday and bought SSF Arkeyan Crossbow battle pack and SSA Wrecking Ball, Stealth Elf and Sonic Boom triple pack (at a discount for 5 dollars something). I wanted series 1 Wrecking Ball, so this was an excellent buy. And I also bought Mega Bloks Tower of Time pack (Legendary pack) and got the Mega Bloks SSF Legendary pack for three cents. I bought the Nightmare Express adventure pack along with the Mirror of Mystery adventure pack. Also Legendary Deja Vu and her comic. At the end of the day, I ended up with two free Kaos Traps. I also went to Walmart for a whole other reason and found the Magic Axe trap. Great day! XD

Got Giants Eruptor and Drobot at Kmart for $1.00 each! Got home to stash them away and realized that Eruptor's box was stapled shut and Drobot's was taped... Bummer.

I noticed that Kmart didn't have any Trap Team stuff and had a tiny selection of figures compaired to what they used to have... Wonder if it's all going to be on clearence soon.

Got 3 new traps tonight! Fire torch, undead orb, and earth hourglass! Walmart had a lot of traps that I haven't seen elsewhere yet. I was pretty excited.

  1. Picked up the 8 trap pack this evening
  2. My waterfall playset (which I will use as a display decoration) arrived from Amazon.
