The only think I have eyes for July 28th is Miitopia, which buy the game then go see that mistake of a film, you can cast all of the joke characters that you want.

I expected it to be lousy. I had a slight sliver of hope I'd be wrong and it'd be another Lego Movie.

But this legendarily bad is downright shocking.

For comparison, Norm of the North has a 9% RT and 21 Metacritic score.


EDIT: Also before anyone jumps at me with "why are you surprised?", it should be noted that there has never been a wide released animated film with a goose egg RT score and a single digit Metacritic. This is a new low especially for a film that I sooner expected to land in the 20s.

I expected competence from the team that gave us Hotel Transylvania, and apparently still didn't get it.

So the main character has parents? How? How do emojis reproduce? Literally none of them have any form of genitals. Do they reproduce asexually? But if they did, why would they have parents? I'm highly disappointed with the Emoji Movie lore.
