pranks? more like public harrassment

I think they really enforce bad stereotypes, too.
The typical audience for those type of videos are fairly young kids, so when you out those fake videos out there of "Gold digger pranks", "Pranks in the hood", and "Homeless pranks", it gives those kids an unrealistic view of what the world is like.
I mean look at the comments on those videos. On the gold differ pranks they always bash the women and they talk about how greedy all women are etcetc. On the pranks in the "hood", the comments are always incredibly racist. They further these untrue stereotypes about groups of people and lead their gullible viewers into believing that's the way things actually are.

Basically they're just terrible all the way around.

At first I thought it was an exaggeration, but YouTube is really getting very terrible.

The harmless ones can be entertaining, but a lot of them are just harassment. It can feel good to see the pranker get the **** kicked out of them at least

p sure all of them are fake, so they're harmless in that sense. i ignore the videos because they don't appeal to me, so they honestly don't bother me. however they do seem to have clickbait thumbnails and titles from what i've seen, so that probably isn't healthy.

The ones that are harmless like "Asking for sex prank" or "Tinder prank" I'm alright with and might enjoy watching. Though its been a trend recently to have dumb pranks that are fake and give children wrong messages about the outside world that usually include "Gone Sexual" or "In the hood" that are mostly fake. I'm not okay with these as they teach gullible children that girls are willing to make out with you or how blacks are savages.

This one guy did it for real, he was looking for a dance club called "niga" He was foreign and went up to black people in the hood and was like "you niga? you know niga?" And they were super helpful. Lmao
