That video seemed to be purposely edited to not reveal anything new besides the levels and her. When I saw the shrine I really wanted it opened so we could get a graveclobber or blaster tron class confirmation.

Barbella seems alright, I kind of want her to use her weight more though , even just throwing it would make it a bit more interesting. But I like her block summoning attack .

On gameplay she's alright, though her synergy in going through attacks is good there's definately too little weight for someone using, well, weights.

Quite love the pun in Tae Kwon Crow's backstory. Guess that you can just change your element at will if you try hard enough! Eh, weak excuse, but I'll take it.

It's actually fairly interesting that we have a Skylander who's catchphrase is based around their lore and not their appearance/attacks. Good job Tae Kwon Crow.

Though isn't TKC's issue a G-Rated OCD(can't do anything out of line near the person? I've never done enough research on this)? That's against everyone's headcanon, considering we just assumed him to be scatterbrained like his troops.

Giving a quick glance at writing notes for compulsive disorders, it's also massive fanfic fuel that it could be driven by a desire to prevent something, which makes them stop doing the "wrong" thing despite the person fully knowing it's irrational. Obviously for a kids' game they wouldn't depict it correctly or expect anyone to pick it up(fully waiting for someone to say I'm looking too much into it/being offensive), but I'm just throwing ideas.

From the same writing notes place. Well, this would also explain why have a gold-searching device that somehow didn't fall on the hands of the Golden Queen and living far from mainland Skylands when most of the games take place there.
But I'll stop for now. Again, complete newbie on the subject; I have my anxiety disorder but it's far from this.

Player reaction comes before accuracy sometimes. It's a staff with big rocks, to us they should act heavy like the stuff she summons. It'd feel more normal if they weren't there with the current speed.

I think the point all of us are trying to make is that you should HAVE to buy an extra Crystal. You should just be able to reset the Crystal and find a synergy that works... You know, like every other Skylanders toy in existence!

You can't reset traps, you can't reset vehicles, and you can't reset magic items!

"Find a synergy that works?"
you can't do that with regular Skylanders!
You only have two choices for a regular Skylander, and there's a good chance you won't like either of them!
You can't take Trigger Happy's guns and replace them with a Sword!
You can't take Dr. Krankcase and turn him into a Knight!

If I don't like the way trigger happy or Dr. Krankcase plays I'm stuck with them!
Why should it be any different for a Quickshot Imaginator?
You're all overreacting, at least in this case you get to CHOOSE your character's "battle class".

And even if they can't be reset, you don't simply have the choice of two paths like a normal Skylander, you can choose one of 4 different attacks for each button, and you even get an extra button to do that with.
This means that you STILL have more options than a normal Skylander has moveset wise.
I could have 4 completely different movesets rather than 2 variations of the same moveset!
In other words, you're twice as likely to be able to find a synergy that works with an imaginator as you are with a regular Skylander, even in spite of being unresettable! Maybe even moreso!

You see, here is where I disagree.

I can't absolutely considers Imaginators to be like Skylanders, similarly to how I couldn't consider vehicles as characters despite what Activision wanted us to believe.
If the pure fact they are intended to be different from multiple figure and gameplay points of view isn't enough for you, consider this: Imaginators do offer more customization offers for abilities of course but in the end they are far less complex than Skylanders.

Sure, they all have more or less 3-4 buttons for attacks but Skylanders also have upgrades, button combos and other deeper mechanics which Imaginators will most definitely not have.
Because they haven't been created and developed by an expert team for months and months, specifically to have the most unique and enjoyable gameplay possible; they are just various combinations of Battle Classes' abilities and Elemental powers, and while the options are a lot they are fairly limited.

But that's ok.
That's not the problem at all, absolutely.
I fully understand TfB probably did their best let us create a fairly variety of characters but they simply can't compare to the exsisting roster of 226 Skylanders, and not only because we can't create quadrupeds as I tried to explain.
Even from a lore point of view (yeah, I'm bringing it up again, sorry juarmo) they are simply pure magic energy brought to life in a matter of minutes, we have full control over them and I guess they might simply temporarily cease to exsist when we remove the Crystals from the Portal.

So, since we've enstablished I personally can't see them as Skylanders, what makes you think I would accept buying a Crystal per Imaginator?
At first I though 10$/€ per Crystals were more than reasonable, almost not enough, but now I consider them to be overpriced for what they offer.
I simply cannot see a single positive outcome from this choice, and I fail to see a proper motivation which doesn't sound like a poor excuse as well: the possibility of resetting them wouldn't have hurted anyone, except apparently Activision's finances, and the fact they removed them convinces me even more they'll do anything to gain more money, even spit in the eyes of their customers.
Don't think I've ever been so close to not buying a specific gimmick figure, not even with vehicles (and that says a lot).

It really resembles a lot the Elemental gates and the Fire Realm reminds me a lot of the Lava Lakes Railway Chapter from SSA. As for the crystals...it does not change my game plan at all. I am planning on getting 10. Lightcore?
Revamps?
Reposes?
Amiibolanders?
There's a few gimmicks you haven't bought.
Let's not forget that while Imaginators may not have been designed professionally, the individual parts were, and that includes upgrades, probably especially upgrades.
In other words, the depth gameplay-wise, could sorta be there. And apart from Supercharger quests, their backstories might as well not exist. As far as the games are concerned.
and really, unless you were planning to create spontaneously, the only reason you WOULDNT want a seperate Crystal for each character is budgeting issues, and since when has Activision cared about their consumer's financial prosperity?
