I don't really get the love for Threatpack honestly.

No one is bothering to play as Hood Sickle and thats irritating.

What if they aren't allowed to post his gameplay? Weird.

Here's my prediction:
Water: Gulper - Brawler
Life: Chompy Mage - Ninja
Fire: Chef Pepperjack - Bazooker
Light: Luminous - Knight

Expect it to be 100% wrong, obviously.

I also have a small theory I want to share with you guys: looking at the Battle Class' symbols and at the revealed villains, I'm starting to think the symbols hint at the specific weapons of the reformed bad guys.

The Sorcerer symbol kinda looks like Golden Queen's staff, Wolfgang's bow is in the exact same position as the Bowslinger symbol, Hood Sickle's double-ended scythe is very similar to the Sentinel symbol and as far as we know Pain-Yatta's weapon is an axe, the Smasher symbol.
Quickshot is the only one which doesn't give anything away but we already know about Krankcase.

The site now also says that the game will include all the 12 different tracks from SuperChargers, don't know if this is what Bionichute was talking about.
I wonder if they'll have to be unlocked by Trophies, though.

Looking back at it, a lot of the villains in Trap Team honestly feel like they had to be shuffled around due to time constraints, and Threatpack is one of the.

The only thing they did to make him kinda Water themed was to make the flame effects blue.

Aside from being the best safety villain against Traptanium Kaos, his character is nice as in that he just works for evil and isn't cruel himself; even Book of Kaos points that out.

Hood Sickle! I can't believe this. I loved Hood Sickle and this toy looks fantastic. But the idea of him changing elements just doesn't sound right. What if they have another villain switching elements? What if Bad Juju becomes Light?

Looking at the base, it's... really boring. The black stands out a lot better on basically every element, so the Dark base just looks like a regular toy base. Kinda sucks.

Considering Light and Dark were locked away before the destruction of Cloudcracker Prison, maybe he just felt more aligned with the newly revealed element than he did his original. He definitely fits in perfectly with the current Skylanders in the element.

Speaking of, Luminous is hands down the best fit for Light. I don't see any way they could put anyone else as the Reformed Villain Sensei in that element.

I just realized that I'm not gonna be able to put a Cossack Hat on Hood Sickle since Skylanders can't wear hats anymore.

Wow, I adore the leather and the figure looks awesome. I think I'm actually getting him. (considering he's better than at least one of the two Dark Senseis)

Luminous IS the Evil Overlord of the Light Element after all...

Guys the event is just 5 hours, no second day for them except the booth itself. This isn't a gaming event, it's toys and distractions for the kiddies, gameplay or direct feed would be a mess they don't have space for.

Well, it's possible to be assigned an element if you don't have one. Not much of a stretch being able to be reassigned from one to another.



Also, Undead alignment is a bit of an odd case, since it features characters which weren't aligned with it until after they died. I find it perfectly reasonable that they could be reassigned if they find an element they feel more connected to than just being in the Undead element just because they're undead.

This is coming from you, mate. I don't think there's any fan of Luminous bigger than you. Although, he did say it.

But I feel they'll choose a weird choice. Luminous would be the most likely choice, but then again...Hood Sickle...Bad Juju...yeah. The other Light Villains do have a slight chance, though.

For instance, after Luminous, Eye Five would make a great Brawler. Have you guys seen his attacks in Trap Team? I don't see why he wouldn't make a good Brawler.

And Blaster-Tron would be suitable to be a Bazooker/Knight or something. (Plus, that Blaster-Tron-like sword is an available Knight choice...)

As for Lob-Goblin...yeah, there is no way they'd choose him.

I personally hope Eye Five would make the cut instead of Luminous, but Luminous does seem to be the most apropos.

I guess that was the case with Bad Juju.

Isn't Hex like, actually an Undead? There's nothing actually stating that Hood Sickle is an Undead being. He always came off to me as just an embodiment of the concept of death. He's a Grim Reaper, not a living creature, but not an Undead one, either.

I feel like the conundrum of Undead vs Dark is mainly because TFB didn't think about the Dark Element beforehand. There are a few Undead characters that could be slightly reworked to be Dark. Cynder (What was Undead about her in the first place? The dark color scheme?) could just lose her ghosts and be considered Dark. Hex as well sans her skulls. Because Dark wasn't introduced until TT, the undead characters before then had the whole "mysterious and edgy" vibe to them that the Dark skylanders are known for.

I've been offline all day just merely observing but yeah Hood Sickle's figure looks great. Really wanted some gameplay to over-analyze but oh well. SDCC better have something good.

Actually since they revealed a new character here I think it's almost certain they'll reveal another new character at SDCC. Here's to hoping it's a Skylander Sensei

At this point I honestly care more about the villain figures more than anything.

I think that's the stickers you put on the Crystals for the different Battle Classes. No rest for me it seems, this is smaller than I thought. So one new Dark character... yay. I honestly don't care since I will be getting two anyway. Though the two bigger rows are interesting, maybe one of them has Crash and the other the 11th villain... oh, that was solved quite quickly.
