Implying anyone in the Skylanders boards actively hates Spyro(though I know one exception). Most people find his gameplay meh but it isn't anything to do with ths design,especially with his Mini figure around which is usually agreed to be adorable.
Besides he isn't as much of a husbando target with the redesign. At least not as much compared to say, the huge shirtless red blacksmith or the elves.

Even though Spyro is an obvious Fire Element in Skylanders. That's the only flaw. What's so magic about spyro? He uses fire. At least give him the 4 main elements then. Again, opinions.

Spyro can use other elements, Magic is usually the go-to element for 'more than one'. He just uses fire because Classic series and in animations you can see he forms it out of magic smoke.

But really, most people who use Spyro for shipping just pair him with a dragon, and I'm kind of thankful really. Much better explain running into pictures of shirtless skylanders in DeviantArt than someone doing things to a lizard.

And haven't even started talking about how her powers transform her boat. It goes from a normal looking boat with horns in the back like it's designed after her face to having one huge straight giant horn in the middle. The jokes make themselves, though they'll all go over the head of a younger fan.
Don't get me wrong, it fits her and the toy is very pretty, but the innuendo is too easy.
