Gamestop Sale March 28-29 [CLOSED]

Surprised I'm not seeing any chatter about this weekend's sale. I got the flier a few days ago so I popped in today. There was supposed to be a "Free Giants 3-Pack" with $20+ Skylanders purchase. The manager didn't know what it was about so he gave me a Dragonfire Cannon Battle Pack as that was the only Giants thing he had left in the store.
Anyone know what it was supposed to be?

I got a used Tree Rex, S2 Cynder, and Jet Vac. It also came with the Giants poster.

I've had a good Skylanders pickup day today. Went to BBY this morning and picked up the Knight Light Expansion and they gave me the "Free Giants 3-pack". Then I went to Gamestop and took advantage of the Buy 2 Get 2 free by getting some older SAA/Giants Skylanders. My kids picked out Wrecking Ball, Prism Break, Sprocket, and Slam Bam to kind of build our SSA collection.

I might return to Gamestop tomorrow morning and pick up four more.

People are tired of seeing old stock. Older stuff is just sitting in stores and they need to move it out.

That's what I thought it was supposed to be (based on the picture in the ad), but they didn't even have those in the store I was at. Considering I have both the PS3 and 3DS Giants starter packs already, I lucked out getting the battle pack for free. Especially since it was the regular Cannon as we already had the Golden Cannon. smilie

I got Spotlight, Echo, and Thunderbolt brand new yesterday.
I cashed in the buy 2 get 2 and got Wallop, Torch, LC Whamshell, and Dark Spyro as well as a tech trap for $.99
