Cause when you said "sound tracks" I kinda took it as the entire soundtrack of every song in said game/show, not the individual songs.

Ghost in the Shell SAC - "Torukia, I Can't Be Cool, I Do, Inner Universe, Rise, Goodbye My Master"
Yoko Kanno is the most incredible genius composer/musician no one's ever heard of. She's written and composed exceptional music in every genre that exists, from blues to classical, folk to rock. My personal favorites from GitS are the energetic electronic "Torukia", the openings "Inner Universe" and "Rise", and her collaborations with Ilaria Graziano, "I Can't Be Cool" and "I Do". "Goodbye My Master" plays during a particularly moving scene towards the end of Season 1. Her Cowboy Bebop and Macross Plus soundtracks are fantastic as well.

Final Fantasy VII - "Anxious Heart"
Our parents having just separated, Dad had my younger brother and me spend the weekend over at his new apartment. My brother had just gotten this game. The wonder of the cyberpunk city of Midgar, displayed in mind-blowing cutting-edge graphics, portrayed the plight of the downtrodden people and Cloud's memory problems, and deeply resonated with the two of us as we entered a bittersweet new world of our own; one in which our parents didn't scream at each other anymore, because we'd never see them in the same room together, ever again.

Silent Hill 2 - "Promise (Reprise)"
Another game that just totally blew our minds at the time. Great hook, excellent atmosphere, and a beautiful soundtrack from Akira Yamaoka. Simply haunting.

Oh snap, whoever posted Bravely Default is right. That game was magical.

Demon's Souls has one of the best sound tracks in a game I have ever listened to. here are a few of my favorites.



Definitely listen to the main theme. It's gorgeous.



One of my favorite boss themes ever.



This is the music you hear in the Nexus. Absolutely creepy and fills the place with more atmosphere. It's creepy in a calming way, if that makes sense.



Underrated track IMO. It gets stuck in my head, and it's quite good!



**** THE FLAME LURKER. Only cheap boss in the Souls games, but incredibly easy if you're a magic caster. Although, magic is for losers. Dex build FTW. Oh yeah, also nice track lol.



One of the best tracks IMO.



THE CHARACTER CREATION MUSIC IS GODLY. Definitely listen to this.

****, I can't find one that is my favorite. They're all amazing. Dark Souls has some god damn amazing music too, and I am so excited to hear what Bloodborne has in store.

Everyone in this thread needs to play Demon's Souls if they own a PS3.
