I was thinking the same thing, that they (Frito Lay) decided to slap a hold date (10/13/2013) except for the few Kroger stores just to get the word out. Think of Krogers as the EBay for food (The Scalpers).

Warehouse shipping manager did say he would definitely see it come through his hub UNLESS they were doing a "cross promotion" or "direct promotion" (can't remember the wording), in which bags would be delivered directly to the stores. Maybe this is what's happening?

Finally got my codes emailed to me yesterday. Of the 100 submissions I actually got 100 different emails (I thought my email broke when I saw all the messages), I have entered 25 yesterday and 25 today, 48 are winners. The odds of winning are pretty good so far. I really thought it would be like 10% winners given the limited number of prizes. I had to use lots of family addresses and even 6 neighbors who said it would be OK to have these items mailed to them. I know people are going to be upset I claimed this many, but I really thought it would be a lower winning percentage. I also think its bad to ebay the codes so I'm NOT going to sell them. Oh well, I followed the rules of the contest I'm going to use up my codes. I think I got the codes already because I sent them overnight USPS with delivery confirmation before this thread started. I put a 1 cent stamp on each envelope with an index card filled out appropriately to follow through with the rules. I put all 100 entries in the express mailer to save on postage. If you haven't sent them in this might be worth trying. To the rest of you guys, expect the codes shortly. Can't wait for Sunday.

All code requests that went out by the day the promo started should be there by this week for sure, mine are.

Did you get emails for every card you submitted? I did quite a few just to be sure that I didn't get a couple losers and then have to send in more and wait longer and then repeat till I got a winner. I've not seen any chip bags anywhere in the 3 cities that surround me. I am in Michigan and I've seen a few people from Michigan post saying that they found some. no doubt will I see them eventually but having a bunch of chip bags cluttering up the house is not something too popular with the wifey!

They're just gonna look up your name and see if you sent in a card. If you did, they'll give it to you over the phone.

Till November, huh? Guess I'd better tell my cousins. They'd go crazy for this! I mean, the art looks so cool! But, of course, I probably won't enter. Won one and lost one

Called and they said I'm not in the system. Sent out four cards two weeks ago! This is bogus.

Has anybody had any luck giving their mail in codes to someone else? I'm not advertising or asking. I am just wondering. I sent out 12 postcards and only really want 2. I didn't realize that pretty much every entry is a winner.

Roseville CA. Hit up the walmart and target on either side of 65, neither had the new bags.

Send in a 3x5 card in an envelope to the address in the official rules. If they have it; they will give it to you.

Found a bunch of bags at WalMart this morning and without thinking I grabbed four of them. Now that I have them at home, they're not the Fright Rider bags at all. They're Swap Force bags with more coupons inside for the Swap Force Starter and a $5 gift card at WalMart if you buy the starter now. I'm so pissed off right now that I spent $30 on chips and didn't even get what I wanted.

Yeah, I am in Buffalo, and I never saw any of these bags. I did fill out 10 requests for codes last night when I was waiting for Midnight to hit. Hopefully, they have not run out yet.

Wow so now not only did I get 4 useless bags that aren't for the Fright Rider promotion, but now there's another promo bag to look for. This is ridiculous. Why can't they just let me give them $20 via their website and let me buy the damn figures? Very frustrating.

Still none out here. The ones they had at walmart today were 'special' walmart ones with a coupon for $10 off off a starter and a $5 gift card. The cardboard boxes showed an orange fright rider.

Frito Lay in my area is truck-to-shelf. Or so ive learned recently. I just came across the guy stocking the shelves asked him about both bags with skylanders characters on them. I showed him pics. He said he has never seen either bag and he had been working this area for several months. So, its likely if I dont get the codes via mail, it will be an ebay purchase. Unless of course somebody here wants to trade.

Any sightings in the NYC area?
