South Park all the way!

VS VS

The Simpsons.

Frankly, none of them are that good. :/

I've never watched South Park but I find it a bit too distasteful for my likings.

Here's the problem; Family Guy was alright for awhile, but then they started residing to the lowest of low jokes, e.g fart jokes and gay jokes, and it just got old.

The Cleveland Show just sucked.

The Simpson was amazing, It was funny and sometimes smart, always clever, then the movie happened and the movie was astounding, and then they switched writers and it went downhill, the comedic tone changed and it just wasn't funny, too many things were changed and it gets to a point where you eventually start running out of ideas, and that has kinda happened to them.

American Dad however I find that it knows what it is and it plays that out very well, it knows its limits and it's not afraid to do something different and if people don't like it then they're like 'alright, people didn't like this, how can we make this likable and better?' and then they adapt

So American Dad all the way.

Agree with all apart from South Park. Old Simpsons or American Dad in general are my favourites.

South Park for laughs provided and for having some striking messages and generally being willing to break taboos, Simpsons for having some more heartfelt stories.

Simpsons - My dad got me into it fairly recently and I love it (both the new and old episodes). Have to admit my absolute favorite characters aren't any of the main ones though (Groundskeeper Willie, Sideshow Bob, Krusty, sometimes Mr. Burns) but that's not to say I hate the main characters. I haven't seen too many episodes so far though

Family Guy - I've been into that for a while, I enjoyed almost all episodes I saw and while I like the Simpsons characters better, I've seen and liked more episodes of FG, so I choose that

Bonus:

Cleveland Show - Dislike it. All of the characters are insufferably annoying with the exception of Cleveland Jr., the bear couple, and sometimes Cleveland

American Dad - Big fan, though all of the characters are up and down for me (some episodes I love them and some... not so much). Gotta say Steve is my favorite though

The correct answer is South Park. The average season of South Park has more political and social insight than all the years of Simpsons put together.
