Here I am, talking to a darling stranger and he/she brings up the subject of "Would you prefer if the male has to be the one to ask the person out? Or the girl?"
Me not really wanting to talk about this subject with him/her, I said "idk. whatever happens, happens i guess. i haven't really thought about it"

However, I would love to hear what you guys think about it!
So, Users!

Would you prefer if the boy is the one that asks first? Or the girl?
Mind saying why you think that way?
Do you mind if you're the one that'll have to ask first?

This is assuming that you both are aware of being in love with each other.

Gender wise, it shouldn't matter. It's cute either way.

Though if we talk on a case by case basis, some people are just less confident than others, so in those cases, it can be tough to say.

I like it better when guys ask girls out, because usually when it comes to marriage proposals, it's the guy who is asking, and asking someone to go out is kind of similar to marriage proposals, just without the wedding part and stuff lol... Does that make sense?
And I just think it's more romantic :3
I'd be too nervous to ask him myself, anyway ._.

Either way is fine. Though personally, I'd likely be too shy and nervous to ask someone out, so someone would likely have to ask me out.

I really wish the world would just realize that gender stereotypes are stupid. The whole Guy hits a Girl thing is really stupid tbh. If a Girl hits me, it's ok, but if I hit her back suddenly I'm the worst person on the face of the planet.

Lol yeah. Like, I read it and at first I thought you were gonna go off about how people shouldn't automatically assume that the guy should be the one to ask the girl out, instead of the other way around... but you went in a whole different direction haha
