I nodded "I'll find something I just know you'll love!" I said before running to the stores and looking around for something perfect for Luna

I remain beside my big sisters, Celestia and Luna as he runs off. I nervously rake my hooves against the ground as a few mares wave at me. Man, trying to find a special some pony for Hearts and Hooves Day was going to be so hard.

I was looking around for the perfect gift when I saw a mane clip of a crescent moon "She'll love it" I thought as I got the shopkeeper's attention "Sir! I'd like to buy this mane clip!" I said as the shopkeeper walked over "Good choice, I'll tell you what, you get that pink girl with the blone mane over here and its yours" He said, I nodded and walked over to the female "Hello ma'am, can you follow me for a moment?" I asked "Why not" The girl said as she followed me to the shopkeeper, who gave me the mane clip, I walked away happy and the shopkeeper had gotten to talk to the mare he loved

Celestia noticed Astrelo's nervous discomfort, "Still can't find that one, is it?" She leaned in closer to his side, "Why not talk to them, you might find that it is not what you or she looks like," she turned her attention to an earth pony who was segregating some flowers outside a shop, "It only takes a little courage."

Luna giggled a little as Austin took off into town, "He didn't have to pay for anything," she assumed he was off to try and purchase something expensive, "I hope he doesn't take my reactions to heart," she nudged Celestia, "I'd hate to see the boy age beyond life and leave us," she kept the thought of their practically eternal life in the back of her mind, "All we can do is live, but I want him to live happy... Without me, can he truly expect to be happy when he can barely walk and I'm out and about on daily occasion?"

Celestia lifted her head, "Sister," her smile faded only a little, "If his smile makes you happy, then why question it?"

I ran back to the Princess's "Hey, I'm back, so did I miss anything?" I asked before looking at Luna "I got you this" I said as I pulled out the mane clip and gave it to her

"I'll try that I suppose. Well here I go. Wish me luck big sises, I say nervously making my way over to the mares. Um, hello," I say approaching the group.

Luna lifted the gift up with her magic and moved it across her sight, "And here I thought you were out to retrieve something you couldn't afford," she looked to Austin with a smile, "It's perfect," the clip slid in just in front of her left ear and squeezed down into her mane. She then turned her attention to her little brother, "Oh look," she kneeled down to Austin, "Our little brother has never approached anypony pony willingly like this," she whispered, "You know this is only his fifth Heart and Hooves celebration with us, and he hasn't been able to find a mare to connect with."

Celestia nudged her sister letting her know she could hear her conversation unsure if their little brother, Astrello, could, most likely not though.

"He'll find somepony Luna, earlier today I thought I was a monster, now I've got friends and you" I said quietly to where only Luna could hear as I hugged her

ooc: where should I put Astral? I'm trying to get back into the RP.

Ooc: such a simple idea but yet cuttingly ingenious idea!

Astral slowly walked up behind the two Princesses. "Oh thank the stars I found you again! After leaving the restaurant, and uhh sorry about before..." Astral said walking up next to Celestia.

((I will Wyrstel, but what's their names?))

"Hi Astrello" One of the two mares said with a smile "How are you today?

OOC: they have no set names, come up with a few.

Celestia's attention tore from her siblings to the one they had found earlier that morning, "Astral, you've returned from your tasks? If I might ask where you had to go?"

"I went and ran a few errands, I'm also trying to... Uhh.... Come up with a few ideas for Hearts and Hooves. So what's been happening with you since I left?" Astral asked starting to feel a bit wired around the Princess's, like an odd feeling he just couldn't define.

"Luna... C-can I do something?" I asked

((Ok, the one who talked to Astrello is named Sally, and the other one is her friend Brittany))

(How about Sunshine and Lilly instead.)

"Umm, okay I guess," I reply to Sunshine, raking my hooves nervously against the ground.

((That sounds better actually))

"You don't have to be shy Astrello" Lilly said as she hugged Astrello

Sunshine did the same "Yeah, we want to be your friend, you always seem distant from everyone else" She said

I blush deep red and hug them both back.

"Sorry about that, its just I'm naturally shy. Umm, anyway that's not why I'm here. I umm... Do you want to... Sweat falls down my face as I struggle to say what I want to. Oh this going terrible I think to myself. My entire body shakes as I continue to try. Do either of you want to be my special somepony," I say finally, before falling over do to all the stress of this situation.

"Astrello!" They both said as they checked the prince to make sure he was ok, Lilly was blushing "I think he likes me" She said

"That's great Lilly, I knew you had a crush on him" Sunshine said as they both picked Astrello up and carried him to Lilly's house

"Hey, easy girls," Celestia paused her conversation, "It took a lot for him to approach you, try not to scare him, please," she made a quick motion to them. Dropping he hoof, she looked down to Astral, "You didn't miss much, we just passed through the town for the scenery. We planned on another walk through though, you'd be welcomed to join us again."

Princess Luna tilted her head, as she stood back up, "And what would that be?" She questioned with some worry in her tone, but in a more naive approach.

My strength is all but spent, for all the courage it took to approach the two mares, has drained it from me. My entire body shakes as the two mares carry me. Sweat covers my entire face from the stress of it all. Even my voice is shaky.

"Sorry about this Lilly and Sunshine," I say, apologetically.

"Don't worry Astrello" Lilly said "And... I'll be your special somepony" She said before kissing Astrello on the cheek

"I wanted know if I could... Kiss you" I said with a deep blush

I blush a deep red, but say nothing for I am very tired. My dark, deep midnight blue eyes gleam in the light. My snow-white mane blows in the wind.

OOC: Not saying flat out no to Austin's request, but how old is he anyway... You didn't put it on his sheet.

((I don't think you asked, but I'm just gonna say he's 17))

OOC: Oh, ok... Little young, but not in actual horse years(fun fact! That is an older horse, like a 50-60 year old human). It's good though.

Princess Luna blushed a little and dropped her body to be eye level with the changeling pony, "I don't know, do you think you deserve one from me," she grinned brightly, "I mean its not even Hearts and Hooves day yet," she tilted her head, "And we've only met today. I do not wish to make you sad, but I'm finding it a little early for that do you not agree?"

Princess Celestia was too focused on the royal brother to notice the conversation her sister was tangled up in at the moment, "If you would please set he back on his own four hooves girls," she called out again.

"Oh! Of course!" Lilly and Sunshine said as they put Astrello down, Lilly blushed as she stood next to Prince she cared so much about

"I guess, but if we like each other, isn't that all that matters? Why only show effection one day a year? I love you... Do you not feel the same?" I asked

"Uhhmmm...." Astral paused as he tried to think about what he was about to say and he wanted to say it in a mannerly fashion. "So, Celestia what where your plans for Heart and Hooves?"

Princess Luna was taken by his heart, "Austin, I am very appreciative of our friendship, and I value greatly the affection you present me, but it is much to soon to decide my feelings for you. Only hours of acquaintanceship is not enough time to find that answer," Luna leaned over to connect her lips to Austin's cheek, "You are a kind pony, you stand against the oppression of your kind by boldly admitting your feelings, and you have not the desire to hurt anypony; qualities I would never take for granted. You are a great pony, but I must repeat the statement, it is just too early to say how I feel for you," Luna pulled away, "But I also said it is not impossible."

Celestia nodded as the mares toned down their excitement, "Dear brother, do not be scared please. You rule this kingdom as much as I and our sister do, it is best to be knowledgeable of those who live within Equestria," she attempted to encourage the prince.

Celestia's attention was finally pulled from her brother, and was turned to Astral, "Well we were about to make our way back into the town square to find a place to stay for the next few days up to the holiday festivities," she looked around at the decorations that had been prepared for Hearts and Hooves day, "It seems this year will be more 'festive' than the others we have attended in the past years."

I smiled "Ok Luna" I said before hugging the princess "Thanks for what you said about me... You've made me feel welcome here, even though my kind has done horrible things to your subjects, I consider myself to be a normal pony like the ones in town"

"If you want you can stay at my place, it should be big enough also being my work place. I do have a guest bedroom and my bed I wouldn't mind sleeping in a chair or couch...." Astral said as he couldn't help himself but to turn his head away from the Princess and looking at the ground kicking a pebble.

I swallow nervously and nod. Taking a deep breath I approach Lilly and kiss her on the cheek, blushing as I do.

"I like you too, Lilly," I say shyly.

Lilly blushed and kissed back

"So umm, what would you like to do, Lilly, I ask shyly, nuzzling her. We could start with a walk and then perhaps lunch. Or is there something else you have in mind?"

Princess Celestia nodded, "A noble offer, but I'd hate to intrude seeing as you would have three visitors for the night," she referred to her sister, brother, and herself, "Are you sure," she lowered her head to allow Astral to glimpse her expression, "You can take it emotionally?" She knew he was nervous about asking her this.

Princess Luna lifted herself back up, "Good, it would not be optimal to have you uncomfortable."

I smiled before walking over to Celestia "I think he means jus you and him" I said

"Lunch sounds great Astrello!" Lilly said "I'll see you at home Sunshine"

"Ok roomie" Sunshine said before she started walking home

"What!? NO! That'd just be rude to invite one instead of all of them!" Astral said as he couldn't help but bite his bottom lip. "Well if your younger brother is fine sleeping with one of you two I have no problem. I also have a telescope and lookout spot if you need it for anything."

Celestia giggled a little standing up straight, "Very well," she agreed, "You must show us your home at a later time, for we have a good amount of time before the moon must rise," she turned back to the little village square, "And I'm sure we haven't seen everything the ponies of Everfree have planned," she then started for the fountain in the middle, watching Astrello's situation as they moved.

Princess Luna followed quietly behind her sister, thinking to herself as they walked on, Austin is great, he actually likes me. But... I don't want to grow attached to a mortal being such as him. These feelings are all too confusing, she held a bland smiling expression to cover her internal distress of the relationship.

I walked alongside Luna, her smile looked, forced "Luna, are you ok? You seem like you're hiding something" I said, worried about the lunar princess

Luna's lips perked for a second as her eyes turned to Austin once again, "It is nothing my little pony," she said calmly, "Nothing to stress yourself over," she gave another light smile as she had many times before, "Besides, we should be focusing on the decorations and making sure any new ponies who visit see how wonderful our townsponies can be."

"The town looks perfect Luna, everyone is having fun, the only way anything bad could happen would be if some kind of villian showed up, but the odds of that are low" I said

"That you are correct about. Only last year we sealed Discord in a stone imprisonment," she pointed out to the royal castle, "He is currently held in a locked chamber, away from the eyes and hopefully the memories of our subjects," she added, "But other than that, no impending threats come to mind."

Walking with the Princesses, Astral couldn't help but want to start a conversation again being bored. "So what are we going to be doing next? Look at a few shops? And isn't there also suppose to be a dance? I'd assume so because it is a holiday of love and dancing is a nice form of love, Am I right?" Astral asked.

"Sounds like it would be" I said to Astral "What did Discord do to deserve being sealed in stone?"

Princess Celestia nodded, "Of course, but that particular even is held on the eve of the day of celebration. Which by my calendar, the eve of Hearts and Hooves is tomorrow," she replied with her casual smile.

"He brought unwanted chaos," Luna started, "Misshaping our land and tormenting the minds of the ponies who live here. He was not a good figure to have around, especially with the hardships he put us through."

"Tomorrow night, huh? To bad I don't a special pony yet... I was all one for romance in my young stallion years." Astral said in a little pouty tone as he sighed afterword.

"Oh... That makes me think though, why did the other changelings hate me so much? Maybe I brought unwanted caring and kindness" I said

I take Lilly over to Kindred Hearts Restraunt. We sit down at a table and wait to for the menus. I nuzzle her affectionately and kiss her on the cheek, blushing again as I do.

OOC: Need reminding again, this is 1000(+) years before Twilight, SugarCube Corner is not an establishment yet(it is a family owned store that exists during the Twilight era. Sorry to keep bursting your bubble though.

Princess Celestia bowed her head slightly, "I see," she started, "But you never know what the future holds. Not every years I everypony's year you know."

Luna shook her head, "I cannot see reason why you are shunned by your own kind. It is not like the changelings to choose to dwindle their own numbers so easily though."
