if i have 0 bars with my phone, it tells me " emergency calls only"....

this really pisses me off! if it can all 911 why cant it call other numbers!!!!!!!

obviously because if you call anyone else in a place where you have almost no connection, you will use up your battery and you won't even be able to reach them in the first place. it is keeping you safe by reserving the battery in case you get mugged or kidnapped or something.
