That's actually the source of a lot of problems honestly. Guys grow up scared that anything they do will be considered gay so they sometimes end up as jerks, scared that they will be accused of not being masculine. Going to be serious here. I was followed home once by this group of guys from school when I was younger and called "***" and lots of other similar things just because I was kind of a quiet person. It really bothered me and made me think that someone being gay was legitimately bad for a while too. I realized later that they were just hateful people that didn't even understand what they were doing, but that doesn't help much. I'm sure I'm not the only one this sort of thing has happened to.

I don't think the "gay" topics here are doing any harm because it seems like mostly everyone understands it isn't serious though.
