RETOUCHING ON SOME NEW GUIDELINES. READ THlS. [CLOSED]

I give you guys a lot of freedom in this forum, but there needs to be some new guidelines according to some of the things that have been going on.


  • Dont start picking fights
  • Dont start bandwagon hate, meaning don't all jump on one person because other people are.
  • Dont post topics that you can post in some of the stickied sub-topics (like "What did I miss??" or "talk to me") I put a Random Thought Topic there for a reason.
  • Dont bypass the censor, even with pictures with adult words.

Anything else I need to rejoin in on?

Will this mean that it'll be enforced more? The risk and chances of getting a Moderated message increases?

No, because that was a joke. HCI kinda took it seriously.

HOWEVER, because of that topic, people took the joke too far and it turned into bandwagon hate ("Stop posting, HCI"). I won't allow that.

Jokes = okay
Hate= not okay

Can I say something about the censors?
Thy are far to easy to bypass, even adding things like if a censored word has an accent its still banned. Like if hello was censored, Hèllo would be censored too, and Hellò, and Hèllò, and so on.

^If it's a quick thread that will die within days, if not hours, I don't see why it would NEED to go into Video Gaming.

I see that section as a place for more dedicated gaming threads, such as all purpose threads.

Yeah, that's okay. But I'm pretty sure that, over the last few months, Stuff & Nonsense got more video game-related topics than Video Gaming. Of which, a quarter of them had the OP complain why the topic got derailed and someone quip, "You posted it in Stuff & Nonsense. What did you expect?"

Or, y'know, Stuff & Nonsense can just take over EVERYTHING. ^.^;
