Pokémon X and Y
Super Mario 3D Land. Honestly, for me it was really easy to beat the regular game.

Other than Gates to Infinity, I haven't played any other 3DS games...

i've only ever owned kid icarus: uprising (and lost it six months later) but its pretty good graphics-wise as far as 3ds games go and has a pretty good story and fun characters

the only downside is that gameplay is a little odd

Good story, characters, dialogue, graphics, weapon diversity...
Some people say the controls are weird, but I'm left-handed and I don't see a problem with them. :3

I think the 3DS XL makes things more awkward. I tried playing Uprising on one and it hurt to keep my left hand on the trigger and the circle pad. <.<

but it has rounded edges, so it wont dig into your hand like other models.

also i'm an adult with big hands. so i think the xl would be a better fit for me :/

It's funny because I don't even own half of these games; some of these I rented, played a demo, or loaned from a friend.

There's no real reason to have them on there. X and Y exist to provide the most advanced Pokemon experience there is, and arguably the best games in the series (4th gen) are compatible on the DS.

So far, Monster Hunter Ultimate has been pretty fun for me. It's definetley not for everyone though.
