So...any songs that are at a slow to medium pace, fit in with the theme of insanity or love (preferably duets), and you think would be cool to animate? Just asking!~

Kevin Macleod has many tracks that I'm sure will fit. "Fun in a bottle" seems like a good example smilie

through the fire and flames is the slowest song i can think of

Jonathan Coulton should be a goldmine. He does nerdy, funny, folk-rock ballads - most of which deal with romance, loss or insanity. He got famous from "Still Alive", "Want you gone" - songs he wrote for the Portal games.

A few highlights:
Skullcrusher Mountain - A mad scientist tries to convince someone he's kidnapped to love him
I Crush Everything - The song is about a giant squid that wants to be with a woman on the surface, but cannot because he would kill her if he tried
Code Monkey - A computer nerd tries to woo a girl at work.
