No sorry, spoke too soon. Just went into the game & only got gold from my shrines & hit the mabu button & it showed a blank element of day. They'd wanna fix this pretty soon because it's starting to get a bit frustrating. Especially when you get the load screens come up which say stuff about the element of day bonuses.

I have a feeling that this is more of a major issue for them. As it doesn't seem to be one thing that breaks it. Some days mine works fine. Others it is broke by `10 am. That is why I think it has taken awhile to get fixed.

Mine finally works. It's Tech today.

Mine's working so far this morning (I know, give it time) but it's Air. Sounds like it's still not right, because it always used to be the same element everywhere.

It will be 3 weeks, today, since it broke. So getting there.

There hasn't been an update, therefore it hasn't been fixed.

Same as it has been for weeks now - if you see the blue loading screen, you will no longer have an element of the day. Obviously, depending on how you use your device this means how long the eotd works for each person is going to vary.

Hadn't realized the elements are different though - I'm Earth so far today.

I was Magic for the few minutes that it worked.

I'm undead. A few days ago I had fire back to back which was okay with me because I have two of those shrines and mine worked for almost two days straight.

I've been fire for three days. Not that it matters. lol Weird that we're all different, though.

How do you even tell it is fire? My screen is usually just blank.

It is very interesting to hear that everyone's is different. One thing I have noticed is some elements, like fire and magic, usually work for a few hours and then break. The rest just break immediately. It is intriquing that others mention that fire and magic work for a little bit too.

For about the last week mine has been showing something when I tap the XP bar. It never works, but at least it's showing something. That's a start, right? lol

Mine has been working off and on. What I mean by that is some days it breaks by 10 AM others it works all day. I don't visit anyone right now because that seems to break everything right away. Other times I just exit out of the app and it is broken when I come back.

It seems to have been determined that any time you get the start-up screen (now the blue screen of EotD death?) the EotD stops working. This will happen the first time you visit someone or before that if your game does a refresh for you. I've been waiting until after it's busted to go visiting - just for kicks and the occasional gem.

Mine says air today but isnt working

I thought mine was working too today since I logged in and logged out a few times and it's still there. But I was wrong. It's gone again.

I had Fire for several hours today and thought it was fixed. But after visiting to collect Kudos, it's gone again. Showing Water for tomorrow. I guess I'll skip visiting as long as possible

My EotD is fixed now, in a way. Yesterday the Element was Life. Today the element is Life. Tomorrow the element is Life. It was changing every day up until yesterday. It still breaks part way through the day.

I'll probably end up jinxing myself but this is the first time in a while mine has lasted past noon. I even accidentally visited someone just a couple hours ago. My current is Magic with tomorrow being Tech.

Mine was Magic today for several hours. I show Fire tomorrow. Maybe there will be a Tuesday Update - the lack of info is ridiculous imo . . .

Mine worked longer today then normal, but broke around 1-2 this afternoon...

So for what it is worth... I just had my game relaunch on me. Which would kill the EotD before. However,it is still working. It also looked like I had new skylanders to unlock. I had the exclamation point by most of the elements but nothing new was there. Did they release an update that fixed it?

I force-closed the app and re-started. Got the same thing with all the exclamation marks all over the place - portal, Flynn's ship, etc. Nothing actually new, but there seemed to be something going on. My EotD was already broken and it didn't fix it, but maybe tomorrow it won't break again? (OK, I'm really stretching it here, but I've got to be hopeful)

I had the same thing with exclamation points, everywhere, but no element of the day. By checking all my stuff, though, I realized I was able to purchase another adventure balloon. I probably don't really need it, but it gives something for my Skylanders to do

I hope this is actually fixing the EotD. I was actually able to visit someone and not have mine break on me.

Time traveling to another day and coming back seems to fix it. Not sure why. The theory is that when the day changes, the fix will take affect. Maybe it needs to recognize it as a different day in order to reset the EotD. It probably registers that an element is chosen for the day (even if that element seems to be blank) and has to reload it for the day.

That's progress. Hopefully there will be a Monday update as well with some new stuff and new Super Tuesday for next week.

I tt'd to February 1 and my well reset, came back to current time and now I can get countdown.

Hrm. So TT fixes that bug too.

I imagine they fixed the code in the update but it needed a month rollover to actually change the grand prize.

Qanai did u already have the February alter ego. my friend is trying to fix their well like you did but it's not resetting to NYC when coming back to current time

I already had Cupid flamesliner, but when I moved to February 1 it put NYC in the well then. I came back to current time to throw stones

I went to 1 Feb, came back, and mine's still Cupid Flameslinger. :/ (Which I don't have, so that's sorta cool, but I want Countdown... lol.)
It also changed my EotD, so it seems to be random now? (Mine was tech before, hut said it would be flame tomorrow. Came back, now it's water today and will be magic tomorrow.)

I figured jumping to Feb. 1 would have fixed the well all along. But if my theory is correct on why it's broken (which is also why I figured jumping to Feb. 1 would fix it), then your well won't reset on Feb. 1. The idea is that to fix the well glitch we had before, they made it so that when you jump ahead to the next month, whatever gets out in it will be stuck until the next month. So if you jumped ahead to Jan. 1 (like many of us did), then whatever got out in got stuck until Feb. 1. I wanted to test that theory (and the potential "fix" to get NY Countdown), but I was afraid it would mess up the well for Feb. I guess I can always keep jumping ahead. Just afraid of messing it up more. It's odd that Cupid Flameslinger pops up for this Feb. I guess that they just have it programmed per month instead of a particular month and year. I guess we'll have to wait and see if they create new ones and change the coding on the well. If not, then the well ha become mostly pointless. It would be good for those who haven't gotten all the egos. They can probably jump ahead, now, and get them all. Though it would potentially break the well, so I don't know if I'd try it unless we knew there wouldn't be any new top prizes in the well.

Yesterday when I was playing, I got a blue screen, although, I thought that something like that would happen, because some other games I was playing were kind of choppy. Anyway, I didn't get onto the game the rest of the day, but this morning when I checked, it showed the legendaries as new, Diggs and the Molekin Market. And a quest I completed yesterday wasn't completed. Strange I thought. Then, when I was selecting Skylanders for my Adventures, the Water symbol was glowing. The EotD is back in business for me, with Water being the Element of the Day!
