"As much as the idea is a perfect one, our flaw is that the ship won't be able to handle the long distance teleportation without breaking apart," TAD turned to Locke, "Grand theft is what landed you here in the first place," TAD then turned in the ship's direction, "Now before one of us has a meltdown, whether it be the heat or this conversation, which, by the way, is delaying my orders, I suggest we move back to the ship where at lease the air inside is much cooler."

OOC: Don't worry Herr, as I mentioned earlier, there seemed to be a surprising lack of Stargates in this sector of space. I'm going somewhere else with this.

Asura looked surprised that none of them knew what it was. "The Stargate is a device that creates an artificial stable wormhole through subspace, connecting to another Stargate and allowing entities to travel instantaneously through the two."
He let that sink in. "It was made by a race of being called the Alterans, but others call them the 'Ancients', 'Ancestors', 'Gatebuilders', or the 'Creators'. They are the first evolution of the humans, but they died out a long long time ago. Long ago they seeded almost all habitable worlds with this Stargate, so beings could travel freely between them, but some thought it was dark magic and buried them, rendering them inert. They are also my creators." He let that sink in. "I ran a few scans from the ship to determine if there is one on the planet. There is, but its under 10 km of rock, and nearly impossible to reach, it's probably damaged too. But, that does mean there is probably life on this planet."
Asura stood up and pointed to his left. "It is in that direction, which means that civilization probably exists there. I couldn't use the scanners to trace radio, subspace, or energy signatures; so I can't be sure. We have to head in that direction, but its a long way off."

Asura sat down again, and picked up his little new cube of nanites. "I agree with TAD, we should go back to the Hermes for now. We can scavenge it for supplies and resources, but try to avoid the engine and core reactor areas, there is still traces of radiation present. Tomorrow morning we can pack up and head out; TAD and I can carry most of the weight."

Asura looked up and waited for replies.

OOC: Stargates are not Asgard tech. Also, Stargates are relatively small, about 24 feet high and wide and usually planted a little in the ground.

Hyperspace isn't teleportation, its traveling through subspace, where the laws of physics don't exist, allowing ships to accelerate hundreds of times faster than light, and get there in only a fraction of the time.

ALSO, using a Stargate here would be cheating; no fun in that. smilie

OOC: did you know the idea of teleportation, which was brought up in Big Bang Theory, was that your body or whatever you were sending somewhere, was broken apart into light particle, which would mean you're dead. On the other side, the receiver takes in yours and/or the items particles and recreates it with the same components, which would in turn make you and/or the item exact copies of who/what it was. Strange to think huh?

TAD turned to Locke, "I will have to turn you in though, it would be against all my programming to allow you to walk around freely. Plus I'd need confirmation from my overseer to make such a trip," TAD stood there rather quietly awaiting the next commenter. They will not comply so easily since they choose to make friends with a convicted felon.

Deep down, Anhangsel had an idea what Asura was talking about. "Wait... Now that I think about it, I remember one day, a Maulwurf-Schlange from our home found a... He called it "Gruuk groo aghk." But he described it as a strange ring which he found in a sight with many strange stones. I think they're called "ruins." No Maulwurf-Schlange ever went there again, but it's not possible anyone of Maulwurf-Schlange made the ruins OR the gruuk groo aghk. If you speak truth, these "Anshiens" built them."

OOC: According to some theories, our consciousness is a series of electrical impulses being passed between neural passageways in our brain, so this is what happens when you are transported via Stargate or teleported via something else, like an Asgard transporter array: The device scans your makeup, disassembles you to the most basic elements, converts them into energy, transports them, converts the energy back into matter, and reassembles you. The electrical impulses will still be active, therefore, you will not have died and no copies are made. Also, don't give alot of credit to that show, not all the science in it is true. smilie

____________
Asura knew exactly what Anhangsel was talking about. "Yes, the Alterans, or 'Ancients', as your people probably knew them as, built the Stargates. Even though they were incredibly advanced, they built many of their buildings out of stone and made it look older, because they liked older architecture. But they died out long ago." Asura looked saddened for a moment.
"Without the proper knowledge of how to work a Stargate, someone would have no idea how to use it."

Asura stood up, "We should head back to the ship now," and started walking to the ship.

OCC: Being scientifically accurate is cool and all, but it's not a main point in the role play. It's not about jumping through hyperspace, it's about surviving on a planet full of dangers.

Locke begins to walk away, "Yeah I'm good. I'll just find A ship in some city on this planet. After all, Gotterdammerung is home to some of the biggest crime lords ever. I'm sure they have a ship somewhere. I'm not going back to the ship just because it's steamy and dank. I've worked in heat way beyond this."

OOC: it s more of a conversation of tech than it is for the RP... They did have the teleporting talk because of Star Trek, which is why I brought it up. I haven't seen enough of the Stargate series to know how it all works.

TAD pulled up the Tesla Coil, "Are you admitting to defying my non-hostile attempt to bring you in? Should I just shock you down now, or let it fry you entirely and be dome with you?" TAD charged the coil to a non-lethal level, just enough to stun or knock out his target.

Anhangsel was trying to understand the situation more. "Uh, TAD, I think "Ajeruh" has a point," he said. "Maybe we should get along. Err..." Anhangsel looked up at the sky. "The sun is getting really bright. Maybe we should find a rest spot and head out later. ...Oh wait, humans sleep at moon time, don't they?"

'Here we go again', thought Asura. He stood up, put the block of nanites in his pocket, and got between Locke and TAD. "We can stand here and argue all day, or we can go inside the ship and continue the conversation there," said Asura in an escalated tone.

"Asura, he just said he wasn't going back voluntarily," TAD kept it's stance, "You do not have authority over me. If you do not comply and continue to stand in my way, this coil will go through you to my primary target. I do not want to have to scatter your skeleton," there was a wine from the coil implying it was charging some more, increasing in power, "I have my orders, you should have yours."

Asura looked at TAD amusingly. "You think that can damage me? You think I have a skeleton? All that will do is provide me with a little bit of power. I do not have orders, I am sentient and have my own conciousness, and I sincirely feel that we should all shut up, stop threatening each other, and find a place to rest." Asura walked over to where Anhangsel was. "Fine, fight amongst yourselves, destroy one another. You beings are so trivial in your own ways."
He started walking to the Hermes. "I am going to the ship to collect resources and supplies, anyone else with a functioning brain is welcome to join me..."

Quote: Courtland
Name: Asura Courtland
Age: 11,538 years old
Race: Asuran Nanomorph (nanite-based semi-organic sentient being)
Gender: Male
Role: Engineer (science and engineering)
Moderate medical, moderate survival, moderate combat
Skills: equipment/technology specialist (create/repair/identify/assimilate)

Special Skill:
Upon activation, an energy shield is created (2 meter radius) around me. The energy shield absorbs kinetic and energy attacks for one minute. Kinetic/physical attacks are converted into nanites, and energy attacks are stored in a temporary capacitor.
After the one minute is up, two things can happen:
1. Within that force shield, the converted nanites and stored energy swarm the inside, damaging enemies and healing/helping allies.
2.The converted nanites and stored energy are combined, then focused with my arms. I can then release a deadly and destructive nanite/energy beam from my hands at a target of my choosing.
*(This power will drain me of a huge store of my energy reserves, therefore, this can only happen once per charge.)

Equipment:
-1 quick deploy nanite-fiber tent
-1 sewing kit
-1 basic tool/tech kit
-1 basic cooking equipment
-1 military rucksack
-1 basic survival kit (auto adjusting compass {for different planets}, fire starter, etc)

Electronics:
-1 portable Mk V Naquadria-Neutronium generator
-A new prototype generator developed by the Asurans as a drastic improvement to the Tau'ri Naquadah generators. It houses the unstable isotope of Naquadah that is stabilized by enhanced pure neutronium nanites. It can output the equivalent of 1 Terrawatt of energy and comes with adjustable output and a built-in adjustable transformer.
-1 Alteran LSD (Life Signs Detector)
-A small iPod sized device developed by the Alterans that shows any and all life signs within a 50 meter radius.
-#integral in body# 1 Asuran Collective uplink module
-A built-in module that all Asurans have, that lets them uplink to the Asuran Collective via subspace to communicate and send/receive information.

Weapons:
-1 Asuran Neutralizer energy pistol
-An energy pistol that fires compressed energy bursts. It has two settings: Kill and Stun. Kill can injure/kill the target, while Stun can temporarily incapacitate/stun the target for 5-10 minutes. It comes with a built-in energy crystal that slowly recharges from subspace, but can be recharged with any power source (if powerful enough).
-#integral in body# Since Asurans are basically a local collective of nanites, most Asurans can modify the integral structure of their body to perform specific functions, such as making their arms into blades, fingers into keys, and feet into something that can make them swim better, etc.

Appearance:
Clothes: Matte black = baseball-style cap, military pants, military rucksack, and military jacket. Matte coyote tan = shirt, utility belt, military boots, combat gloves, and socks. Matte black/ matte coyote tan Shemagh scarf wrapped around neck. Utility belt has a pouch for the LSD and a holster for the Neutralizer.
Body: Medium build (large lag mass, medium arm mass), 6'2", thick black head hair, full trimmed beard, intricate tattoo/scar on upper left cheek, no hair anywhere else, pale white skin, light purple eyes.

Personality:
Quiet, keeps mostly to himself, creative, active in groups, doesn't like to be a leader (but will if the situation arises), determined, focused, loves his job/specialty, loyal to his people and race, helpful.

Race Biology:
Asurans are a nanomorphic race. Basically, each separate Asuran is a collection of millions and trillions of cell-like nanites. This makes Asurans extremely resilient and adaptive. There is another aspect of the Asuran nanites that makes them stand out from the other nanomorphic/android races: each separate nanite has the ability to collect raw material and replicate itself, kind of like organic cells performing mitosis. Because of this, any injury an Asuran receives can be quickly healed, making them very effective.
Every Asuran is independent and by him/herself, sentient. Each Asuran has the ability to connect to the Asuran Collective, a network in subspace of many, many Asuran nanites communicating and sharing information with each other.
Asurans have a very unique way of getting energy for themselves. In the Asuran body, a special designated cluster of nanites acts as a sort of generator. These nanites draw energy from subspace, making the amount of energy they can have almost infinite. Each nanite can also act as a capacitor. They can also draw power from other sources, such as power sources (nuclear, solar, etc), but they can also produce energy like other organic life forms by consuming materials, such as food.
There is a down side to drawing energy through subspace, though. When drawing energy from subspace, the activity can be monitored and tracked, making this technique ineffective when in situations requiring stealth. To counter this, the Asurans can shut themselves down for about an hour, and draw energy through subspace slowly, making the subspace activity undetectable.
Even though Asurans come with many advantages, they also come with disadvantages:
Pros:
-extreme regenerative abilities and resistance
-super computers
-perfect memory
-each Asuran can be 'backed up' in the Asuran Collective, so if they die, they can literally 'respawn' (on home planet or outposts)
-sentient
-conventional weapons are ineffective against Asurans
-Asuran Collective network
-able to work for long periods of time
-can choose to be organic instead of nanomorphic
-long life
-assimilation
-can artificially ascend by uploading themselves to subspace
-very adaptive
-regular EMPs not effective
Cons:
-can be stunned for a few seconds from energy pulses and high doses of electricity
-need neutronium for mass replication
-nanite disrupting technology (Alteran/Asgard/Tau'ri) can kill them
-explosions can sever the links between the nanites
-vacuum space and direct solar radiation can disable them
-cannot use personal cloaking devices, because the radiation given off by cloaking devices disrupts inter-nanite communication
-subspace recharging can be tracked
-EMP from nukes (or larger) can disable them
-cannot ascend in nanomorphic form

OOC: lol, you a lie

TAD dismissed Asura's comments, "As a crew member of the ship, a human is sentient, so yes they have their thoughts, but as they are a crew member, they have orders. If you are not part of the crew or military personnel, then why were you aboard the Hermes?" TAD asked still watching Locke.

Asura stopped and turned around. "I was asked by the Tau'ri (humans) to advise the power generation engineer about their prototype Naquadria reactor. Obviously, it went critical and overloaded, leading to the ship crashing. Now, my priority is to get off this planet, and go home!" He turned back around and continued walking.

Anhangsel did not feel safe around TAD at all. And right now, Anhangsel's instinct was to get away from TAD. But then again, TAD did try to save his best friend. TAD had to have SOME good in him, right? But then again, who knows. One way or the other, Anhangsel wanted to avoid TAD for now, so he followed Asura to the ship. "I think... I think I'll go along," he told Asura as he trailed behind.

Locke sighed, "Well I just can't shake you can I? Eh, screw it..."
Lockers arm started sparking, "this is going to hurt you more than it's going to hurt me."
the electronics on his arm then emitted a huge EMP blast, the sound ringing through the forest and the force knocking him to the ground.
"Ohhhh... that hurt."
Locke's robotic Arm and leg where disabled.
"Oh well. They'll come to in a few hours."

Asura froze. The EMP wave passed through him, overloading his nanites. In a split second, Asura rerouted all excess power into the subspace conduit he had opened a few minutes earlier.
He unfroze and smiled. 'That packed quite the punch! That Tau'ri is a technological genius.'
Asura turned around and told Anhangsel, "Go to the ship if you want, I have to do something..."

He ran towards Locke. Asura passed the unconscious hulk of TAD, shook his head, and crouched down beside Locke.
"That was quite the blast, I was barely able to shake it off. Here, let me help." Asura put his hand on Locke's robotic parts, and his nanites seeped into the mechanical peices, repairing them and stopping the effects of the EMP. "It will take a few minutes for them to return to full function, but I think you deserve this. I don't want to see such talent locked up in a cell," said Asura, who then picked up Locke and ran off into the forest towards the direction of civilization.

But Anhangsel could not hear anything Asura told him. He heard the blast, and immediately went def. Anhangsel was not used to the loud noise given off by Locke's weapon, and in general were sensitive to loud noises. He looked over at the group and saw Asura going back. "No! What's going on? Anyone? Help? Is it safe?" Anhangsel was unsure if he felt safe at all in this group. Maybe they were all dangerous. Anhangsel started to dig his head into the ground. OOC: Robo info 101? Have you not seen Pacific Rim? Gypsy Danger is Nuclear and runs absolutely fine after the massive emp from the kiju. Nuclear power cannot technically be stopped unless it overheats and has a meltdown. The most that could happen with an EMP to a nuclear power source, is that the coolant systems can be shut down. TAD's internal workings, a smaller nuclear reactor core, is cause for less heat production, which in turn is less of a need for coolant systems... Plus, an emp could scramble an AI if not protected properly... And how can your character react so quickly without even knowing it went off(facing a different direction I believe) but seeing as we are at an impass of information, nuclear energy in general, I'd leave it up to HerrM. to decide whether it effected me or not. Personally, being an AI, Zexu could have had an autput overload of his own to either dul or completely nullify the EMP effects on the suit.

I dont want to argue about it, I'm just stating what I know on the matter. Personally Nuclear energy is my favorite form of energy production, due to its un determined life expectancy, and multiple movie references to its never ending production, makes it a very efficient energy source for a suit Droid like TAD.

I personally believe the EMP wouldn't have an effect on TAD due to the nuclear core part, but id appreciate it if you wouldn't just assume it worked and not let me tell what had happened myself.

OOC: smilie Someone sounds mad?
1. I knew what the device was, because I identified it by scanning it remotely earlier in the RP. 2. I didn't say the nuclear core was affected, I said the conduits; the things that carry power. Plus, nuclear reactors are prone to EMPs because they operate using power, to control the reaction, coolant, etc. 3. An EMP basically overloads an electrical system with a massive amount of energy, so the best way to deal with it is to reroute all excess power somewhere. 4. Nuclear fission is hardly the most efficient form of power generation. If I had to pick, nuclear fusion using a 1:1 ratio of 2 isotopes of He-3 or 1 isotope of He-3 and H-3; or Zero Point Energy would be my choice, because fission requires a medium, such as water, to boil and turn steam turbines.

Also, I find it extremely hilarious when people get ALL their facts from a movie, which isn't always true or feasible, and don't even research the facts. smilie

Sorry if I had pissed you off, I expected someone to know all or most of their weaknesses.

OOC: I'm not getting all my info from movies(Pacific Rim was a reference due to the nuclear core), whatever I have gathered was from sites I used for school project stuff. I'm not entirely mad, just a little decked that your character has a solution to every possible problem. Rapid regeneration, sure it has a limit, but is still rather strong, next to his ability to take in energy from pretty much anywhere, would completely negate any attempts TAD has at pretty much anything. I'm sorry I'd HerrM. Didnt see what I saw, but your character is over powering. It seemed that your character was made to counter everything.

As for knowledge on Nuclear energy, it is the most efficient due to the fact it could use more than just one specific type of atom to make the reactions needed to produce the energy(which in turn does heat water to get circulation for generators). Not to mention the radiation, shutting TAD down so suddenly could cause a radiation leak(but your character can use radiation as his own energy). With the whole multiple location energy restoration, it appears the whole nanite "deadly" beam thing wouldn't really effect him at all...

Ok now the whole identifying what something is can also count for TAD(Zexu) which would have the same turn out, no effect... Idk what to do now, I really didn't want to argue about this...

and yes, a Tesla coil would have ripped Asura apart...

Courtland Green Sparx Gems: 302
#128 Posted: 02:36:32 28/02/2014
OOC: Yes, I didn't want to argue about this either, but it's a bit frustrating that TAD is holding up the whole RP while the whole andriod-cop thing. Also, to underline nuclear reactions, you can't use anything and everything for a nuclear fission or fusion reaction, because splitting an atom in not as easy task, and it requires energy. So, what's the point in splitting a Carbon atom if you are going to waste more energy than it will make, yes? In fact, the best thing to use it either Plutonium (don't remember isotope) and Uranium-235. And no, theoretically, Zero Point Energy is the most efficient form of energy production, and yes, it is possible and feasible. Multiple countries are researching it, and the U.S. Army, Navy, Air Force have a few articles (quite interesting, I recommend them) on ZPE too.

Also, I can't use radiation as an energy source, because I think I said radiation interferes with Asura's inter-nanite communication. The Tesla coil, which presumably uses accelerated ions (weak-state plasma) would have hurt me (if on 'kill', not stun) because it could have fused some of my nanites together. The Asuran race was originally made to be a weapon, so they had to be made resistant to most anything, but I did add MANY weaknesses. You should read what an actual Asuran is capable of. smilie

I don't want there to be 'bad blood' between us or in this RP, in fact, I will give Asura more weaknesses and underline them more. In fact, I will give you a tip. In my description, I mentioned that the Tau'ri and Asgard had made nanite disruptor weapons capable of severing the links between the nanites of Asurans, etc. In order to do this, you can modify your energy weapons to output a frequency of 200-245 nanometers on a low power setting, which will do exactly that.

So, if you will accept it, I give you my humblest apologies. smilie

OCC: I'm fine with restarting. I made the AMP blast do that because the technology that was used was put together to stun and create a force wave. It was reset to produce an EMP, though it didn't just produce an EMP. Also, it was to make two things happen: 1. To make an interesting event (I don't really care if it's scientifically accurate for 4 pieces of unrelated technology to produce an EMP, it was interesting so I put it in there. 2. It was to stir up the story if any characters proved to be resistant to the EMP by making creatures respond to the sound of the explosion. Everyone just respond to the EMP like any of this didn't happen. Also, I don't have any internet because I can't afford it. So I cannot post as much as I'd like, sorry guys.

OOC: I will accept the apology, and sometimes I get over defensive of what I know, because my brain does not retain much, not even on command, so I try to push what I know as fact most of the time, which is usually correct. I really dont think it takes more energy to split an atom and get less, otherwise, what is the point in making nuclear power plants if all they do is waste money instead of make more than what went into it, plus I was basing efficient energy off of something that already exists and isn't technically being studied because it is already in use.

As for your character, still a little OP overall, adding weaknesses is changing who your character is, which I do not prefer or do much often myself if not only for one role play. And the way I see it, if it can be stunned by one thing, odds are it can be hurt by it as well. Your character's bio was just too long for my head to contain each and every bit, furthermore, being an AI, Zexu should know pretty much everything anyone aboard the ship knows, plus some, but that doesn't help if I myself dont know it.

Anyway, I was off for the weekend because I was afraid of coming to this conversation. I'm not the best in social matters, mostly because everyone tends to know a whole lot more than I do, which only make me look really bad, but I'm here now, which I can say, only brings me courage. Bravery to "face my demons", per say... But yes, I would have had TAD effected by it, not to the point that he falls over, and I never really thought about EMP for him, but that doesn't mean Zexu can't think of something on the spot...

TAD had been locked up from the EMP, luckily Zexu's AI chip was not effected by the blast. The nuclear core was set to stand by just as the wave was emitted, in turn making the electrical lines dead. The power surge forced TAD into lock down, locking all joints into place, preventing him from being knocked over. The Tesla Coil was burned out from the mass of energy, it was only a miracle that it didn't explode. A new converter and a few wires should have it running again though, but he cannot tell at this point. The first piece of machinery to reboot were the cameras, allowing Zexu to see the surrounding area. The stored power was low, but it was enough to clean up the emp damages to the inner workings. The nuclear core started back up to replenish the missing power. TAD noticed the two human figures had left the area, but the mole based worm creature was confused on what to do and what had just happened. Unable to move yet, TAD sat idly as the suit worked on rehabilitation.

OOC: I'm going to revise my precious statement. Also, even though most people think nuclear energy isn't still being researched, I can say with pride, that it still is. smilie Mostly fusion, but the Navy is still looking into using other atoms for fission.

Also, if you want TAD to draw even more power than a fission nuclear reaction, upgrade him to a nuclear fusion reactor. It fuses atoms together, instead of splitting them, resulting in much more power. They don't usually require a catalyst (water to boil to spin turbines) and they use Helium-3 (which is hard to get, but you can just say you extracted helium from the air and catalyzed isotopes of it to use).
_____
Asura froze. The EMP wave passed through him, overloading his nanites. His systems went almost critical and his capacitor nanites were badly damaged. His internal HUD was showing that subspace extraction was down, and his energy reserves were at 43.7% capacity. Struggling to overcome the surge, he rerouted excess power into the closing subspace insertion field. It took him a few seconds to return to semi-working function.
He unfroze and fell to one knee. 'That packed quite the punch!' He stood up and tested all his joints 'That Tau'ri is a pain in the dolia, but also a technological genius.'
Asura turned around and told Anhangsel, "Go to the ship if you want, I have to do something..."

He ran towards Locke. Asura passed by TAD. It looked like he had been disabled by the EMP, but his scanners showed that not for long. He quickly went to Locke, who was trying to crawl away, and crouched down beside Locke.
"That was quite the blast, I was barely able to shake it off. Here, let me help." Asura put his hand on Locke's robotic parts, and gave him a bit of power, which started to reboot Locke's parts. "It will take a few minutes to an hour for them to return to full function, but I think you deserve this. That hurt like hell, but I don't want to see such talent locked up in a cell," said Asura, who then picked up Locke and ran off into the forest towards the direction of civilization.

The EMP blast had similar effects against Anhangsel. It left him temporarily paralyzed for a good minute, and caused him to shiver the entire time. Anhangsel did not get enough of the blast for a harmful dose, but afterward he saw it coming from the direction Locke was in. He made the blast? Then did that mean he was dangerous too? Was anyone safe to hang around? Anhangsel was too paranoid to think. Ultimately, Anhangsel felt too endangered to stay for very long, and started heading back to the ship for some alone time.

Anhangsel went back to the burial of his human friend. There he realized there was no mark. Anhangesl found a stick from a native plant and stuck it right at the head of the burial plot. He spent minutes mourning afterward.

Still running, Asura chuckled. "My race has no blueprints. Our base code, your equivalent of DNA, contains over three billion chemical base sequences. No race in existence can hope to understand it."
He stopped beside an overhang beside a small stream and put Locke down. "I need to rest, my power generation is down and I need to repair myself."
Asura sat down beside a rock and took the small cube he made earlier out. He also got out a small pebble sized sphere. He then put the sphere on the cube, which disintegrated on the surface and absorbed into the cube. He then lifted up his shirt and placed the cube on his stomach, which slowly sank into him. After a few minutes, Asura's skin shimmered slightly with a metallic texture.
Asura shivered and relaxed,"Oh, that's much better..."

He looked over at Locke,"So, what do we do now?"

That traitorous non-bio celled mongrel. I'll see to it that each and every nanite in that things body is obliterated. Survival or not, mission comes first. Untill I hear otherwise from a ranking officer, I will hunt down that human and his new companion. TAD's right arm drooped as the weight of the coil lowered it as the suit began to settle. The EMP locking was starting to ease up on the tension to allow movement again. [i]Internal circuitry 79% whole... 82%[/] TAd leaned forward and brought the back placed leg forward to match the other which had also been unlocked. "Which way did they go?" Zexu asked Anhangsel as the head came loose, "The android like one has just taken a prisoner of the ship. With a crime that does not compare to the others, I am obligated to not kill him. But the one who seemingly helped him escape is in serious trouble. He is harboring an escaped fugitive, and is punishable by the same means of the crime of the one he protects. I must continue my mission, so please tell me."

OOC: Zexu is the AI operating TAD, he isn't another character or and android. TAD is, as he had explained earlier... Twice, An experimental suit originally designed for heavy lifting, but modified for combat. Zexu is the AI controlling the suit when there is no driver inside.

Ehh, couldn't really think of anything

Anhangsel, right now, wanted nothing to do with TAD right now. "No. Stay back," he said. "I don't want to be here. I don't feel safe here. I don't feel safe around you. Please, don't hurt me." To add to things, he didn't even know where they went.

"I am the opposite of a threat to you," TAD then was able to move the Tesla coil to its back in order to let is lock in place, "You have no need to fear me, but do so if you must," the suit then dropped to the ground on its knees, System repairs at 94%. Movement at 100% usage. TAD launched up to its feet, and the panels and gears pushed the suit up to 7 feet in height. The spine and leg gears released and settled to 5 feet and 9 inches.

"I... Even if I trusted you, I don't know where they went," Anhangsel said. "I want no part in your... what do humans call it. Conflict? I just want to be safe somewhere."
