I don't really understand the dislike for fanfictions, they have been around for forever on dS, just not in this section as often as they were. On most cases even more useless threads are bumped in S&N and there's no complaining.

I don't like the whole "post for new chapters" thing, that's just...bluh, leaves a bad taste in my mouth. On most cases, people aren't being put hostage to "you must bump this for new chapter" because fan-fictions have always been the exception to double or triple posting--people shouldn't be afraid to post new chapters in a row.
