I just attempted to watch the extra edition but it had like nothing new so I closed out halfway through

Well, personally I don't, but I guess it is because it's not Sword Art Online anymore. It's another game.

People just say it's bad because of the story and the romance.
I personally didn't mind.

by the end of the first episode he says like 213 or something people have already died. I don't know about you, but that's a lot of killing, even though we didn't see it all

It would've been better if the romance was less and something that made the storyline more attaching was included.

I hope this happens when Phantom Bullet is released.

The ending was pretty intense, though.

I don't really understand why people don't like it. It's fine if someone doesn't enjoy it, but nobody has given me a reason why they actually hate it. They just say "oh it sucks it's the worst anime ever blah blah blah" and I'm just like could you elaborate on that a bit? I don't see anything wrong with it.

According to the end of episode 1: "In the game's first month, 2,000 died. Floor 1 has yet to be cleared."

After two years, at game clear, 3,853 had died of the original 10,000.
