I vote for Diggs because of gems conversion and you anyway have not enough energy to run sanctuaries faster with Ermit.

Diggs - molekin market will provide gems to enable faster purchase of other companions/houses

Then restrict your energy expenditure to your best gold producers - swappers if you have Gorm and Tuk or giants with gigantus. Run sanctuaries with one skylander each, send swappers to mt cloud break.

Buy sheep topiaries if you don't have them, it's free energy 10000/4 hr.

Ermit will only help you spend energy faster.

Plus we don't know when/if Diggs will return. Ermit comes around during every special event.

I 3rd the Diggs as things could change, as his price did. If you wait you may end up paying more. Or like when the wishing well used to have gems as prizes, he could dissappear all together. Or like the snow globe i got rid of last year and had to wait almost ten months to reaccquire. Of coarse if you have a hard time building 500k gold fast enough the gem payouts might not stack up quickly as you like.

Tough call. How much disposable gold do you have? If you are energy constrained and don't have all the houses, you're probably gold restrained too. Remember, it costs 500K gold or 200K energy every time you activate the molekin market to use Diggs. So, if that's true that you don't have 10M+ gold with nothing to spend it on, you're going to have trouble using Diggs, so I'd get houses to build up your gold supply first. If you DO have tons of gold lying around, then go ahead and get Diggs. Of course, as some have pointed out, who knows when Diggs will come back? Just be aware that if you get him, you may not be able to use him very often for a while.

I'd go for diggs. With the gems he gives, you quickly can buy some more radiant fields, which in turn give you more energy.

I am at level 40, and only got my first house when I reached level .... 40 (except for the hall of legends, I got a couple of them early in the game). Most of the time they payout energy and gold and sometimes gems. It'll take a while to generate a lot of gems. I'd make sure you get some halls of legend first for your stones (you never know if you have to pay gems for them in the future).

Ermit is only useful if you have plenty of energy to spend. I just got him when I was at level 40, didn't really miss him, but when I could spend the gems on him at 50% off, I gladly bought him.

I have all the houses and before Diggs came around I was generating almost 75 gems per day.

I didnt buy any of the highend companions until recently and funded them all with my houses.

Wow, 75 gems a day? That's a lot. But then you have to purchase all houses I suspect, because you don't get that amount with a couple of houses to start with. And at the beginning of the game it is a pain to buy the houses as you normally are gem short (unless you throw in real money, which I don't). At least I was.

Now I got enough gems to spend, unfortunately no personal offers with giant houses anymore. I really hope they come back. And then I can generate that amount of gems you are talking about. Point taken!

Again, though, to my point, if OP is energy starved, he/she probably doesn't have ridiculous amounts of gold either. If you can only afford to activate the MM once or twice a week, three houses might be a better investment for now.

I pretty much spent all of my gems, but I purchased a Diggs and Fiznik. My first high cost companions. Hopefully there value will allow me to quickly rebuild my gem stash. My first collect from Molekin Market was 25 gems plus the 10 gems for completing the quest.

Bought more gems and got diggs, I feel he's a good buy now even if I can't use him too much now. I 8 mill in coins ...no energy to spare. But I see that soon he will be quite good to have. Thank u all for your input! So helpful.

Are the houses being referred here are the Skylander specific houses (Crusher's house, etc)?

I bought Diggs when he was introduced. Almost 1 month now? During this period I got 100+ gems only ONCE and I run him every day. So do not keep your expectations too high for getting more than 25 gems "every 4-5 days". YMMV.

Yeah. It's probably every 8-12 days for me but I managed to get two markets so between them I get one a week or so. Still, 25 a day ain't bad.
