People assume it's because I don't want to kill animals (which is totally false, killing is one of my favorite things to do), but I seriously don't know why I don't like it. My dad is a very avid hunter, and he gets really upset because he tries to get me into it, but I can't fake my interest, and that creates a huge gap between us. It also really breaks his heart when his friends have sons about my age who are CRAZY about it. But, it has never sparked my interest and probably never will. Can't change who I am.

Tell you want to go fishing. Problem solved although, I really wish my dad would take me to do stuff that other dads do with their sons. I'm kinda jealous.

Eh, fishing is only slightly more interesting than hunting in my opinion. I'd take it over hunting any day though.

And I know a lot of people would love to be in my situation, and I really shouldn't fret about it.

Actually, it's really good, because it keeps the animal populations in control. It's a good way to get food, too, because it's MUCH more humane than the way animals are treated in slaughterhouses.

On a serious note. Metallo, it's okay you don't like to hunt, but maybe the reason your Dad gets upset with you, is because he wants father- son time? You know, time to just talk about what guys talk about. Or maybe he just wants time with you. Now a days, all I see are Dads being really mean to their children. I'm not saying you're a child, I'm saying, even though you don't like to hunt, spend that time with your Dad. You know, you just might make him happy that you want to hang out with him. I might be totally wrong about this... it's just a thought I was having. ^.^

Well, it has gotten a lot better since we found something we both like (pool, the greatest game ever invented ^.^), I really just posted this topic to hear some other opinions about hunting

Well, the bees at my house are carpenter bees. They burrow through wood, just like termites, and if they keep doing it, our carport will collapse, so I kinda need to kill them.
