Skylanders was getting to much money. They were successful and became a VERY popular game. Thus, being Disney, decided to rip it off to make just as much money. In a pic of production, you can even see 2 skylanders figures, but they were intact, thus unknown if they copied the wiring or not.

Kingdom Hearts is made by Square Enix. Disney Interactive just kinda supervises.

But no, seriously, they're too different games. DI is more of a sandbox, free-roam quest game. You walk in a 3D enviroment and do quests.

Skylanders kinda follows the Mario procedure when it comes to levels. You have no free-roam and can only do one quest/mission at a time that is part of the main story mode.

I'm very well aware of their difference. I explained it that way as it's the shortest and simplest way to explain what it is for Metallo.

The exploring and sandbox like levels are nice, but there aren't any REAL fixed objectives, just run around doing missions. 99% of the time I'm just building cars and testing them in the stunt course
