If you'll watch subbed, Sasami-san@Ganbaranai is my favorite anime. It's short though.
And of course, Dragon Ball Z.

And Spirited Away is also my favorite anime movie.

I guess it depends what mood you're in.
If you want slice of life with a bit of comedy, I'd recommend Lucky Star, K-On, Haruhi Suzumiya, Hetalia or Ouran High School Host Club.
If you want something with romance and fantasy, I'd recommend D.N.Angel, Fruits Basket (would also be considered slice of life) or Cardcaptor Sakura.
But if you want something more dark and edgy, I'd recommend Bleach, Mirai Nikki or Black Rock Shooter.

yes good anime when i watched it i had a very pleasurable experience though the main character did moan alot about things

I'd also have to recommend Wolf's Rain, Hunter X Hunter, Kuroko's Basketball, Strike the Blood, Kyoukai no Kanata (Beyond the Boundary), Arpeggio of Blue Steel, Dragon Crisis, Hiiro no Kakera, Sunday Without God, Hakkenden: Eight Dogs of the East, Tegami Bachi (Letter Bee) and finally, Hakuouki. All pretty good animes, some still new.
