Why do people like Skylanders? [CLOSED]

Seriously, you can't even jump. What kind of video game doesn't let you jump? Skylanders. I can't even figure out how to charge my Ki. This game is garbage.

Wow. So the game is absolute garbage AND glitchy. It belongs right alongside Sonic 06 in the video game hall of shame.

Actually you can jump in Swap Force and the 3DS versions of all 3 games.

All 3 games do have a 3DS version (But I do the console versions so idk if you can jump in the 3DS versions but I heard you can)

And Swap Force has jumping in both it's console and 3ds releases.


Also we like it for 1 of 2 reasons (or both)
1. We got into it because of Spyro (Because like it or not it is still a Spyro game)
2. We like Skylander's toys to life concept. (Take it from a Skylander player, you actually start to bond with each figure as if they were a video game character that you like. Well they kinda are but still)


If you want to make it more Spyro like you can complete the entire storyline using only Spyro and Cynder, and the sparx magic item.
( not 100% because elemental zones and swap zones but storyline can be completed along with giant zones in giants)

I know right! I tried it but I ended up getting mad because you can't jump. Then I trashed the game and all my Skylander dolls.

The reason why Halo was so succesful was that you can jump really high in the game. It's obvious that a game where you can't do that won't be any good.

I have no idea what this 3ds is that you're talking about, but you can only jump in the Atari 2600 version of Skylanders if you download the game shark patch by TeamX.

I tought Gallade was something else but okay.... I have to agree Spyro looks like a dog who got slammed in front of a train, and Stealth elf looks like a misformed ninja turtle who lost its shell

Hmm...I'm still thinking of trying out Spyro's Adventure you know, but everytime I watch ten minutes of it on YouTube, I get this "full-up-fed up" feeling, and think, Urgh I can't be bothered, smilie
