Ike
Ike is a strong swordsman who wields the blade Ragnell. His attacks consist of sluggish yet strong blows that will have no trouble finishing off enemies with high damage. Although most of his attacks are slow to balance out with his strength, he does have a few attacks that are both formidable in power and speed, so use them well.

Meta Knight uses Galaxia to attack his opponents. He has many quick attacks and can perform many in succession. He can also fly with his wings and vanish for a short amount of time. While his attacks are fast and weak for balance, some attacks of his have great knockback despite their speed, so use them to surprise foes.

Roy
Roy uses the Sword of Seals for his attacks. He's very similar to Marth, but he's got many fire-based attacks and is a bit on the stronger side. He has a one-hit KO move (if fully charged) and his attacks do more damage on the middle of the blade, unlike Marth. Otherwise, he and Marth are extremely similar, so if you've tried Marth already, you'll like Roy.

Link has several weapons at his arsenal. He mainly uses his sword, the Master Sword, for basic attacks. He also has arrows, his wind boomerang, a hookshot, and bombs. He's pretty strong and a bit on the slow side, but he's somewhat in between both. His range and use of projectiles is great, and he's rather easy to use.
Link also has a counterpart in Melee and Brawl: Young Link in Melee and Toon Link in Brawl. Both are faster and lighter than Link, so if you like Link and also like speed and lightness, then try Young or Toon Link.


LINK!!! I prefer Toon or Young or Dark but whatevs.
