this last update might be the last nail in the coffin. the comment section is epicly bad, and it's forcing google+ down our throats!

am i the only only one really pissed off about this?

After the last two updates, with changing the channel layout and everything, I haven't been too happy with them. Why couldn't they just leave it all alone...? :/

I'd honestly like if they'd add an option to go back to the original channel layout. The new one is hard as fudge to navigate.

This. The 2012 layout was perfectly fine to me.

And this Google+ thing really pisses me off. The 2 things have NOTHING in common, so why force us to have one? <.>

No, they're just losing support from people like us. I don't agree with YouTube's practices, but I realize that, technically, I'm not necessarily the target audience for the content they're heavily promoting with all these changes to the interface. *shrug*

usually I hate new updates, but this always happens. YouTube gets updated, people complain about it, and when the next update comes they hate it and want the previous one back.

though I agree that Google+ is about as abandoned as MySpace.

i'm already used to it



I tried to set an avatar and it tried to tell me no 6 times using dimensions no one else uses before refusing to set the avatar at all in the avatar selection menu-screen-thing. Then after I x'd out of that menu and went back to normal youtube, I get stuck with Nightmare Revisted CD cover as my avatar and don't want it...

It'll still be youtube. It is working with Google+, the channel layouts are horrible to navigate for one thing, I'm sure those like DummyZ who spend half their lives on Youtube could contine the lsit of issues.

As long as we get to watch videos for free and without having to go through third parties, I see Youtube as a privilege. Imagine if they required payment for their services, or didn't exist at all.
