"Korrina can Mega Evolve too!
One Destructo machine is awakened:
"Lysandre can Mega Evolve his gyrados too!

1 Gym Leader and the Elite 4's later...
"remember the actor lady? She can Mega Evolve her gardevoir too!"

Just because they can use Mega Evolution, doesn't mean that they can Master it.

I think Korrina already mastered it before you picked your starter.

Lysandre had machinery on that could have allowed him to use mega evolution

And the Champion is well a champion so she is a naturally strong trainer

Lysandre created an artificial MegaRing/Stone, Diantha is the Champion so she's strong enough to handle it, Serena/Calem went to train and master MegaEvolution, Korrina trained and mastered it for years, and you just "mastered" it in 2 battles.
