Can't get game to update, suggestions? [CLOSED]

My daughter is playing on an ipad mini, has iOS7, running 1.6.0, rarely any problems (except visiting as per most) however she is not getting the update from Monday that includes scout house, Barkley etc.. Has tried logging out and in, powering down the ipad and rebooting etc... Any other suggestions greatly appreciated. Do you think safe to delete game off ipad and reinstall? Thanks, hoblmom

Don't delete the game! I tried recently downloading from cloud save, error 12 and 14! fairly safe to say right now is not the best time to delete or do anything too drastic with the 1.6 disaster smilie especially for an update, it'll update some point soon, just wait smilie

I am also struggling with this. Hoping to get the update tomorrow or Thursday at the latest.. Sometimes my ipad takes a few extra days to receive these little updates..

My wife still can't update either. She's logged in to the game 10+ times since Monday and she is very jealous that my Barkley is already at level 5, while she can't get him.

I wonder if they pulled back the update until the fix the problems for the people who were losing their accounts as described in some of the other threads.

Wish I could go back two weeks and get my game to not update...
