Gallade: What was that!

*Wolverine stopped slashing*

Wolverine: See! Somebody's trying to attack us!

Blister had made it back to where Link, Wolverine, and Gallade were. Now more clearly visible, a large amount of rust gathered around his mouth like a five 'o clock shadow, and a halo of fire- the one thing keeping him from burning everything he touched -floated above his head.

"Do not fear me, mortals, I am here to assist you."

He flares up as he prepared to unleash a powerful burst of flame.

The machine retaliated against Wolverine with laser fire.

Pit soon came across the group who where fighting the machine "What happened?!"

*Wolverine staggered backwards*

Wolverine: Who the hell are you!

*Link drew his sword*
*Gallade began to charge up a focus blast*

The machine did not respond, instead moving to attack from a different angle.

Gallade: Where do I shoot?
Wolverine: I don't know!

The machine fired bullets at Gallade and Wolverine from the air.

*Both Wolverine and Gallade fell to the ground*

Link: Oh no!
Wolverine: It's okay, Elfy! I'll heal!
Gallade: And I'm a Pokemon, the damage won't hold me for long!

*Link began to fire arrows into the air*

OOC: remember cynder and spyro?

An arrow hit the machine, causing it to flicker into view again. It retaliated against Link with a focused laser beam.

Shikari had heard the battle as she tried to stand up, but fell down
same thing happend to Sand....

Out of desperation, Blister began spewing a grand stream of fire, in hopes of revealing the machine. Unfortunately, much of the surrounding forest also was set alight...

Sand Strike was imidieatly ready as she flapped her wings, the whole forest was set inside a sandstorm, luckly the sand got rid of the fire, but everyone was caugh in a harsh sandstorm
it was Shikari who knew who whas behind the wierd weather
"It, it cant be!"

Ike was suprised by the sudden change in weather, "How did you do that?!" Ike asked, a bit surprised.

"C'mon, we've got to get out of here!" Shaydes beckoned to Shikari, trying to look for shelter.

*Link held up his shield, blocking the laser*

Link: Who are you!

"its something i was able to do wen i was young, its with me, its my D&A youi see, i harness the power of the earth, but i cant make it rain, or hail, or make the sun shine more....i can only whip up a sandstorm"
Sand Strike stood up, and demonstrated her powers to Ike by moving her hand up, while she did that a weak earthquacke was feelable

Ike felt the earth rumble beneath his feet. "Thats pretty cool." he said to her.

(I might bring Toon Link or another SSBB character into this soon...)

"lets go, she can see better in sandstorms" Shikari said to shaydes

Sand Strike demonstrated another power by glaring at a few rocks, making them fly, with a fierce movement she slammed the rocks into a nearby tree
"i can go on for a while, but we have to get going, before Shikari gets me again!"

The lack of clean air was troublesome for the blaze; his flames flickered and waned, and he began to suffocate under the weight of the sandstorm. With his last shred of energy, he let a blast of compressed air loose, cleansing the immediate area of the sand. Exhausted, he collapsed into a heap of smouldering rods, breathing heavily to replenish his oxygen supply and reignite himself.



Shaydes was constructing a shelter from any available materials she could find- mainly wood and grass.

"I don't suppose you know any of her weaknesses, do you?"



Treetop sat patiently, waiting for a response from Spyro.

Ike nodded " That would be the best thing to do now."

"weakness? hmm, she has a weakness for water-based attacks, but she can turn water into mud"

"i know, lets go, before its too late"

"*sigh* Water. It had to be water."

Large amounts of water was lethal to endermen, and Shaydes was no exception.

"Well, I guess we're kind of stuck then, at least until we find another ally..."

Ike nodded and followed SandStrike.

Pit and Braixen soon came across Shaydes and the others "Any of you know what`s going on? I`m a bit lost here."

The machine had been set alight by the flames, but thanks to the sandstorm (and Blister's blast of compressed air, I suppose), wasn't any longer. Still not answering, it moved to attack from closer range.

The blaze laid in a pile of ash, still barely moving, glowing faintly. Although the day was warm, it was cool beneath the shade of the canopy above, which was never a good thing for Blister. He could feel the painful cold setting in, as if his life was slowly fading away...

"There's no way I'll be able to recover..." he thought to himself, on the verge of losing hope. That was when he noticed a glass object embedded in the ground, which he pathetically dragged himself over to. Upon closer examination, the object was a bottle of whiskey that, thank Notch, was full.

"Perfect..." He popped the cap off and drank enough to ease the pain, but not quite enough to cloud his judgement with drunkenness. His rods lit up and rose as he slowly stood back up, re-energized. He tossed the bottle into the air and it shattered as it hit his head, drenching him with the remainder of the alcohol. His natural flames responded vigorously to the potent fuel, and he rapidly flared up once more, practically a living inferno.

"Alright," he spoke. "I'm up for round 2!" He was clearly ready for another assault.

A Stone Edge attack soared over and everyone was distracted.
“Who made that fire!” Sand Strike screached like if she just had eaten a frog

Shikari had heard her voice all over where she was, and in an all sudden dissapeared

A mechanical-sounding voice, laced with malice, spoke.
"SO WE MEET AGAIN, pathetic mortals. You PROVED UNABLE TO DESTROY ME BEFORE. And you never will. All you succeeded in doing was STALLING THE INEVITABLE. YOU CANNOT AVERT YOUR FATE. ALL THAT LIVES SHALL DIE."

It was the voice of Metalliform.

a voice raced across the forest:
"me! no, i've never met you!"
It was the voice of Sand Strike, it sounded like she was a bit scared somehow

"NO, YOU WERE not involved. But it DOES NOT MATTER."

OOC: Take note that Metalliform is not currently there. He is merely speaking through the machine.

Ike heard the voice of the mechanical being. "What was that?!"

"that was me" Sand Strike replayed
"its called Earth Voce...."

OOC: Talking about Metalliform...

ooc: oh....

Link: Oh no! Metalliform!

Foxtail, Treetop, and Lotus were just hanging out when they heard Metalliform's announcement. Treetop looked discomforted; the sheer mention of the machine's name was enough to force painful memories of his previous experiences with it. Foxtail noticed this.

"You okay?" he asked.
"Yeah... just as long as she doesn't show up, I'm fine."

He was referring to Princess Candace, an alicorn that he had met with for a bit, and even developed a bit of a romantic interest in, before seeing her true colors in an apocalyptic rampage. The heartbroken squibbon had resented her ever since she mercilessly demolished his home in a fit of rage. Metalliform's reappearance only further reminded him of this.

"So he's back, huh? Well, he's persistent, I'll give him that" Treetop said.
"Stubborn, too. I guess one ass-kicking wasn't enough for him" Foxtail replied.
The vixen didn't really know what to expect, but by the sounds of it, they were gearing up for a fight. She eagerly drew out a pocket knife.
"Well, I don't know about you two, but I say we take this guy down a peg!"

The two others looked at each other as if thinking about other options, which amounted to nothing, and got up, ready for battle.

"Yeah, let's do this!", Foxtail shouted, and the trio ran off in the general direction of the announcement.

Link: Metalliform, where are you! Why aren't you here yourself?

OOC: well.... Everyone forgot about my guys

Treetop sat patiently, waiting for a response from Spyro.

OOC: I didn't forget you, Eevee. In fact, I was waiting on you this whole time.

As the trio traversed the forest, Treetop noticed Cynder and Spyro, and realized he still owed them a favor.

"Hey, you go on ahead, I'll catch up later."

OOC: sorry, i did not read that far


Cynder wakes up a little dizzy.

"shes dizzy, can you give her some berries?" asked Spyro

Treetop administered the berries to Cynder.

Cynder eats the berries and stands up. "let's go"

Link: Metalliform, where are you! Why aren't you here yourself?

The only answer was a hail of laser fire.

"what is going on" Shikari said, as she noticed that the forest whas hurt by a fight....

(Trying to get Pit and Braixen into the RP, but have no idea how to...)

ooc: Let me remind you that Lighting Strike inst dead yet, Maby Pit and Braixen can find her injured?

*Gallade blocked the lasers with a psychic attack and throws them back*

The machine was hit by several of its own lasers, and proceeded to fire a rocket, before moving to another location.

*Link shot an arrow at the rocket, blowing up the rocket before it reaches him*

Link: Aw shoot! He's gone!

*Link starts walking away*

Wolverine: Where are you going?
Link: To look for Metalliform! I'm gonna go find Pit, he'll know what to do!

*Link ran off to find Pit, Wolverine and Gallade following behind*
