I don't have a solid answer for that. I choose to continue with my faith because it brings me comfort and solace, especially in times in great duress. And with my severe fear of death and dying, adhering to Jewish practices gives me peace of mind. I take the opinion that there was some greater power in the very beginning, but nowadays He has taken on an observational role. But I still believe there is a God up there and he is watching over me. >.>
