Has anyone recieved a code by e-mail?

I sent one a day after the competition started and I've yet to receive a code, I hope I get one though

This Halloween Fright Rider figure was part of a 2013 Frito-Lay promotion. It was available from 9/22/13 to 11/16/13 by purchasing specially marked bags of Frito-Lay chips to the first 5,000 entries. This variant of Fright Rider was released to promote the Skylanders: Swap Force release. Fright Rider is of the undead element.

Well, I mailed my post cards before this was posted. My cards were exactly 3x5 and the post lady that I gave them to did not say anything about them being to small. I did decide to go into the Post Office cause I was afraid they would get lost if I dropped them in a street mail box. I definitely will keep looking for the bags just in case the email codes never come.

Dinoh...you sent the cards by themselves. ..not in envelope right? Hmmmm...I wonder if I should send some more out --just the cards

I placed each card in a separate envelope before I put them in my mailbox, it's been about a week so far and they haven't been sent back to me so I assume the size of the index card I used was fine (3x5)

It's been some time already, and STILL no code? Jeez Louise, they're taking forever!

The Kroger I work at in Murfreesboro sells them. I've bagged several already.

My local Ralph's has a huge load of these bags. We bought 3 bags, and won 3 riders! And I read through the terms of service and there's a limit- 4 per person/household.

I'm hoping to get my codes emailed to me before the end of next week. If this pattern continues with every one winning with every code they enter, then I should have no worries about not getting a winning code

Yes, just the cards. From what others say, I might be getting them "Return to Sender" if its true that 3x5 are too small.
I checked all stores today (Chain Stores and Grocery Stores) and came up empty on the bags of chips.

You will not get them returned because you inserted them into an envelope. Those of you that just sent the cards (Like myself) they may come back if too small. I hope not.

I'm guessing that the 3 x 5 cards thing WAS intended to be normal index cards, but mailed via envelope (as actual postcards cost more, openly gives your information to anyone who sees the postcard, and usually have distracting and unnecessary - for their purposes - images on one side). I'm guessing the specification is so that they don't have some on 3 x 5, some on 6 x 8, some on full Letter pages (8.5 x 11), etc., to make one uniform size. I SUSPECT you won't be the only one sending postcards, and that half inch difference, I expect they'll be decent and ignore that.

This makes me SO tempted to try. LOL! But being a Frito Lay promotion on bags I doubt will come to Canada, I doubt this contest is open to Canadians. And even if it's open to Canadians, it might still exclude Quebec (international and national contests like to exclude Quebec).

In Topeka, KS, I just found them at a special promo area of a Dillons.
The big stand-alone promo was separate and kind of hard to find and separate from a few other promos. Didn't see it at another Dillons the day before.

I didn't see any in Sacramento, CA (where I live) the other day.

Read Post #92. Not sure if this is true, but this is what Sleepy is referring too.

Fritos website says only the small figures are to be awarded to potential winners arv $12.99 each. Does not say there is a life sized one to be given away. It would have been awesome though...

It is supposedly every 15 minutes, one is given away, maybe we should try at the same time and see who gets it. I believe it is only the first 5000, but who knows.

I have not gotten the codes I mailed in for yet either.

Just bought a bag, entered the code, and won. Will be doing this 3 more times!

I hope the giant one works, otherwise I'd prefer a normal sized fright rider with the RFID chip

I havent found a bag but I will keep checking

I have a Family/Friend that works at Food Co. Yesterday I asked her when does the Frito Lay vendor show up. She told me that she sees him every morning and wanted to know why. I explained to her about the promo and she told me that she would ask him first thing in the morning and let my wife know what he/she says.

My wife just called me and the word from the vendor is that the promo is starting back East and will work its way Westward ( I know, nothing we didn't already know). He also said that he will do his best to get them here as fast as possible. I am not sure what he can really do or what strings he can pull, but heres hoping.

I'd say if we ordered the figures now, we'll get them by the end of October/Beginning of November, due to Sidekicks SSA/Giants and HotHead taking about 4 weeks in general.

Any bags show up in North East FL. yet?

Yeah, I know. It looks like it is more Central then West or East and seems to be found mostly in Kroger Grocery stores.

They are on the west coast, just doesn't seem like they are in California. I found some in Washington and I know somebody else found some in Oregon. There is no way to know where they are going to show up.

Check your local Kroger grocers. I found mine at Frys Marketplace, Kroger Brand store.

There is a place for them in my local walmart.

Yes, Food Co is my equivalaint of Kroger. I am waiting to see what the vendor reports back to my friend.

No. I mailed mine from PA on the 23rd.

Nothing in Kennewick wa yet...checked every grocery store and box store...nothing 8-(

Mailed cards for codes on the 26th, and I've had no e-mail. I'll stress about them if I don't hear anything next Monday.

Looked in probably 20+ stores across western chicago suburbs. Nothing but Plain, Sidekicks, Dracula, Frankenstein, and the Mummy packs

Several times there's been a big gap in between the bags which made me wonder if someone bought them out, but I've seen nothing
