Half energy on sanctuaries till September 22nd. Pity it doesn't work yet.

How is this a bug? I'm completely confused what you are trying to say. Did you time travel and see this for the weekend?

I hadn't heard this either. Would be nice if it were true. With the dragons giving 25% coin bonuses I've been trying to send send them on Sanctuary runs but can't generate sufficient energy to stuff all of the sanctuaries 2x a day.

I got the offer to on Half Energy. Its september 20th for me now. However I'm waiting for my sanctuaries to finish and see if it really is half energy.

oh and Ermit is back til the 22nd.

No time travel. Offer hard coded in to start Friday through Sunday, but the devs haven't actually activated it. It's now 4am Friday here in Oz. Sanctuaries still cost 5000 energy per skylander as per usual.

Yep, I got the same problem here, its 2am here though.

Same thing here,- still costing $5000. Probably the same old story again where the Aussies miss out for a day because it won't actually work until the US gets it. They probably do it to frustrate people so they'll go "stuff it, I'll just BUY Ermit and get that bonus all the time". Pity they make it so hard to get gems. I can't even get all the character houses & shrines, let alone pay ridiculous amounts for companions. I reckon, if I paid $52 for 7500 gems, I'd be able to get the houses, then do it twice more & buy the crazy priced mates, I'd probably still have some catching up to do. But then take into account the wasted gems on accidental hurry ups whilst waiting for them to unlock the stuff. Why can't they give us half price gems for any unwanted premium buildings? No, that would make things to fair.

I just logged on this evening and it was about 7pm on the 19th. I didn't get the sheep banner but the sanctuaries are half off. I hope they are working for all now.

The offer was hard coded in to appear at midnight, but they forgot to enable the offer until 7-8 hours later. It should now be working for everyone. This wasn't a Monday/Tuesday update waiting to download. It was a bug, otherwise the info screen would never have appeared at midnight.

Ok it works on my iPhone but not my son's itouch... We haven't updated either iOS yet...

I haven't gotten any kind of announcement from the game, but the sanctuaries are half off. I probably never would have noticed if not for this site.

Just collected from 8 sanctuaries - all gold, no gems or stones. I'd rather pay the extra energy and get 10 - 12 gens/stones per day

I got some this morning. So they still produce them. Although I still wonder if the energy is worth it for the gems, and especially wish stones.

6 gems and 2 stones from morning collection. Sounds like a bit of bad luck if you ended up with zero.

6 gems and no stones for me. I consider that a victory. Agree that the energy is not worth it for gems or stones, but that will stop being true for me once I've spun for all the skylanders and my gold needs are greatly diminished.

Got about 10 gems this morning, but all from houses. Sanctuaries gave me only gold and a few stones. I'm ok with getting gems from the sanctuaries - better than paying real money for them - but the stones are definitely not worth it. The stones will probably get you about 2k gold from the well on average, but they're so plentiful from other sources that I'd much rather just have gold from the sanctuaries, even if they gave a fair number of stones instead of just 1 or 2.

My sanctuaries weren't half off either when I checked my game this morning. :( Super sad as my energy pot is really low now...

Did you try closing the app and re-opening it? That will force the game to restart and update.

Gems are absolutely worth the sanctuary cost. The alternative of a lvl 12 giant is about 27,500 in gold. Even at a worst case 1 gem, I think it is a good deal. If there was a "hidden gem" offer of 182 gems for 5,000,000 gold or if they sold a giant's house for 10,000,000 gold, I think most users would take that offer.

I do realize that I have not accounted for gigantus, #1 fans or element bonuses, but that is compensated by the fact that the average gem payout is greater than 1.

Wish stones, however.....meh.
