So I just started playing this directly after finishing Spyro's Adventure and why do the graphics seem...different? They don't seem to be better or worse, just different. I can't quite put my finger on what the change is though. Does it have a better frame rate? Different textures? Somebody help me out here because it's making my head explode trying to figure out what. LOL

The interface texts and informations are presented better, in a less blocky way. Some animations are more fluid. The textures are pretty much the same quality.

The skylanders have more texture on them, ex whirlwind. Her wings in adventure are just flat with the textures graphic on them while in giants her feathers are raised and have more polygons.

Also depends what system... SSA was designed for Wii then the second-to-last version was ported to XBox and PS3 as a last minute decision thing (from what I've read, and it looks likely), while Giants was made for all platforms at the same time, meaning in Giants the graphics were now designed to take advantage of the HD capabilities and such of those platforms. I know you said you weren't talking quality, but that has a subtle effect too.
