So the first snapshot for Minecraft 1.7 came out today. I was hyped as hell for it, so I downloaded the snapshot, ready for probably the best Minecraft experience I've ever had...

...and it didn't work.

This is another of many moments in my life where something doesn't go as planned and the only logical explanation is "It just happened." When I try to run the snapshot, the actual launcher doesn't come up, but I just get a bunch of coding, which of course I have no idea what to do with. I think the problem is that the game thinks I'm trying to start up a server, but I don't know why.

This is where I downloaded the snapshot, and I tried BOTH downloads on there, and neither worked for me. And apparently I'm the only one this didn't work for because it seems to work perfectly fine for other people. Can somebody please help?
