Ok, so me and my mom were at this European food store, I spotted some watermelons for sale outside the store. I was like: "That's dumb, what if someone comes over and steals a watermelon?" Then my mom says: "You have a dirty mind."

What?

It wasn't like I was suggesting we steal a melon. I mean, those watermelons have no security, there MIGHT be a camera out there watching the melons, but it won't really help if some person steals a watermelon and makes a break for it.

What she meant by "Dirty mind" was that I was thinking of stealing a watermelon.

She probably has another definition for dirty mind. Maybe she sees as stealing things as being dirty work and believe dirty mind means to think of doing dirty work.
