You realise there is more to SOPA than just deleting fan art right? It's a law against ALL forms of copyright infringment. You have an avatar you don't own? SOPA. You want to listen to a song on youtube? Not with SOPA. Wanna watch a cartoon/anime not aired in your country? Not with SOPA. Pretty much the entire internet would cease to exist as we know it. There are pretty much no websites on the internet without any form of copyright infringment on them. Heck if Dark were american even this site would be in danger of closing.

Unfortunately, if you just follow the money here.... you will find that Apple, Dell, Adobe, etc. are big supporters of SOPA.

Would be a shame if their public image was tarnished if more people found out they support internet censorship

Almost everyone higher up in politics and business support internet censorship. I honestly feel like they think everyone is just too dumb to understand and run themselves. Granted that may be true to some extent but if we were given information more up front and easily, I think that would do the world a lot of good and let everything run more smoothly as a whole.

The government as always been unfair, almost if not all governments are corrupt. Everyone is in it for the money, not the well being of the people.
