I'm 5'6' and I can put both my hands on the ceiling, no tiptoe. So there's this ceiling fan..... and when I stand under it I feel like my head's gonna die... Imma be scalped.

I've hit my hand on a fan before. It didn't fly off and squirt red over the room. There's also a video online that shows a guy hitting his head on a fan. That would indeed hurt like heck but you're scalp isn't going to fly off the moment it touches the fan.
