Venice Beach Tragedy [CLOSED]

At Venice Beach yesterday, a man decided to go on the pier with his truck to drive onto the pier. He went at fast speeds and ran into many unsuspecting people. Many we're injured including an elderly woman won broken ribs. Sadly, one newlywed woman was unlucky for she is the only dead victim. She was just about ready to leave Venice Beach because her husband and she were going to continue on with their honeymoon. It came to a sudden halt when the driver hit the woman and dragged her on his truck's hood until she finally slid off.

I think this is horrible, insanity or not he needs to be put in jail. Is is sick and awful I don't understand what kind of person would do horrible such a horrible thing. This a very poignant day and my condolences to the family and husband of the deceased newlywed woman,

How disgusting, I definilty agree with you in that the man needs to be put behind bars for a very long time.

This is such a tragedy. I agree this man needs to go to jail for a very long time.

I don't find the whole "Honeymoon" part to be sad.
To me, its simply that a life was taken that day is what makes this sad..

This is really a horrible story to read. I can not imagine the terror these people went through. It's very sad the young woman lost her life. I really hope that guy goes to prison for a very long time.

Well they weren't suspecting it and they weren't paying attention because of the attractions. He was going pretty fast as well,
