Just unlocked Marth with Kirby and Luigi with Peach.
Beat the game as(in order):
Kirby
Zelda
Peach
Meta Knight
Luigi
Fox

Mr Game and Watch is not one of the first characters people unlock...



There's 3 ways to unlock him.

  • Clear Target Smash with 30 different characters.
  • Clear classic with all characters
  • Play 250 Brawls

Any order!

Ness
Reflect 10 Projectiles.
Complete Subspace (Part I).
5 Brawls

Captain Falcon
Play through Classic Mode on Normal or higher and beat it in 12 minutes or less.
Complete Outside the Ancient Ruins.
70 Brawls

I recommend theses two first.

Ash, I reccomend you play Subspace Emissary. If you go through a lot of it you WILL unlock lots of characters faster,
