I had to get 2 fillings. But,what the dentist did was pretty smart. He numbed and gave me funny gas. So, basically it felt like I was sleeping most of the time. I also learned that the gas is a legal way to trip some balls. In fact I'm still a bit high even though I took a nap. And I somewhat still can't feel my face right and have headache. So, things I have learned:

Funny gas is fun.

and Pina colada is a terrible flavor for numb gel.

I plan on doing so. But, my teeth before the fillings had cavities...Which explained on why they were sensitive.

I remember when I was like 7, I had to get an extra tooth removed. They gave me some funny gas, and it felt like I was in a dream. Because the tooth wasn't loose at all, it was extremely hard for the dentist to pull out, so eventually he let me help him. It was an odd experience, being high at 7 years old.

Sounds like it would be very weird, experiencing funny gas...

I'll have to use that stuff if/when I get these two teeth pulled if they don't come out soon. :/

For those who have not been experienced with the funny gas. It's like dreaming only with your eyes open.

I've had surgery to have two wisdom teeth removed. They didn't use nitrous oxide, which would have been ineffective. They used Novocaine.

Well, it IS a numbing agent. So it numbed the entirety of my mouth. I must admit that getting a shot in the gums is not the most pleasant thing, though. <.<

Well that's why they numb you. I didn't really feel the needles. Nor did I see the needles the nose things was obstructing my view.
