So, it's been about a month since I got out of the military, and back then I promised to make a topic to sum up what happened immediately after. Take it as a thank you for all those times you guys supported me through it all.
I have a few pictures to show you, and while I doubt that they can completely transfer the feelings I experienced in those four days, you can be sure that I had one hell of a time.

This first one is actually a few days prior to the end of my conscription. There was a little concert organized for us on behalf of the "Green Sisters". The event itself was pretty lame, but it gathered quite a crowd.

This one was taken in the last hours of my conscription. My friend and I actually took off the uniforms immediately after taking this picture. (I'm the one on the left)

When I got home I went to a Hard Rock Festival "Nummirock", with another friend of mine. It's the first time I've ever done something like that, but it sure won't be the last.

The event itself lasted for four days. We missed the first day but staid for three nights and three days. That's a lot of time to get ****faced over and over.

The band performing is Amon Amarth, one of my favorite bands. The mosh pit was freaking violent, I got some bruises on my arm that I can still see. I was surprised that they performed so early on though. You'd think that they would save the best for last.

This picture was taken at midnight (at midusmmer the sun doesn't set in Finland). To contrast the loud music, the beach area was really peaceful and quiet. Me and my friend went swimming a couple of times. In my drunken state I remember shouting: "I'm sorry Wilson!" multiple times while in the water. Shame on you if you don't get the refrence.

What is a Hard Rock Festival without bungee-jumping? At midnight, of course. I wanted to give it a try, but it was damn expensive.

Rytmihäiriö, easily one of the most popular "smaller bands" performing. Most of the time I spent wrestling on the grass with random challengers. I don't know how I found the time to take a picture, but it turned out ok.

This is how the last night ended. We burned two of the four sofas we had in the camp. The sofa in the picture was the first one. You know, for fun.
The CSO's were a tad bit mad at us, but that's exactly why we ended up burning an another one.

And that, dear users, was my first weekend as a civilian after 347 days of military service.

Thanks for all of you, even those who weren't as interested, for not minding me posting all this stuff. Most of you supported me throughout the whole year, and for that I'm thankful. Having poeple online asking me what I'd been doing after every week was a part of the fun.

Thank you. It was fun, the festival, as well as the whole service.

You'll get another chance someday. I'm trying to go for a military career.

Yes, I didn't see anybody get a projectile vomit shower, so I guess people were sane enough not to try it if they were really drunk.

That, or they actually didn't let drunk people to try it (which would've been weird, cuz you know, everybody was drunk).

Niin, armeijan loppuminen on varmasti mukavaa.

Oikeastaan en, vain alkoholin pitkäaikainen ja päivittäinen käyttö vahingoittaa mitään elimiä. Enkä minä kyllä missään tapauksessa mikään tapajuoppo ole jos kerran kuukaudessa otan mottia. Siitä ehtii haittaa kertyä vain kukkarolle, ja sekin on melko vähäistä.
